FIXD OBD2 Scanner

Thought this was a good idea until they overcharged me $99 and refused to refund me. Their customer service is all automated responses, and they basically send the same answer, regardless of what you say. Avoid this app and find better alternatives.

Said needed to update the app but it does not work. Had to delete and when tried to update it does not work. Says need to update. Cannot download now because cannot update. Useless will have to go with a more reliable service.

The app pretty much tells you exactly what your dashboard relays, nothing new but it attempted to make a 120$ charge to my debit card and it got fraud detected so I’ve been having to go without my debit card all week. Honestly not worth it, I already paid for the product why continue to try to take money away from paying customers I’ll never understand

The app attempts to bill my bank without me paying for the subscription. Fortunately, my bank detects this scam and blocks the payment. I had to delete the app from my phone and will be throwing the port reader in the trash.

Took two or so weeks to arrive, also tried to charge $99.99 twice! Thankfully did not go thru but it wasn’t even two weeks after I had the damn thing not real happy.

I bought this off of Amazon years ago. It’s worked all this time with no issues. I now have to pay a yearly subscription that most mechanic shops do for free now. Y’all SUCK

Wish I had read through all of these reviews. Advertised as being able to use this tool for free. Got it in the mail, a week later I’m being charged $109. Did not approve this charge. Very deceiving business!

This app is as piece of junk! Every time it asked for email to get this app going, it needs a code. I never receive an email, ever! Ive checked my junk mail folder, or any of my inbox folders.. I’ve been doing it for the last two month, nothing.. Can’t reach any customer service .. I ended up trashing the scanner. Save yourself the money, get a real automotive scanner

I purchased the plug in tool for $20, and when I tried it out, it seems like a great too. However, I was alerted to a $99 charge about a week later. I never agreed to a subscription and thankfully my bank flagged as fraud. Very deceptive advertising and sales from the BBB reviews I’ve seen. Too bad. They have a decent product and are ruining their reputation with that nonsense.

Doesn’t work own 8 vehicles it wouldn’t scan and read one of them.

I took the free trial and cancelled the same day I started it and every day since then, they’ve been trying to charge my card $99. I just got paid, it’s PAST my free trial date, and they still took my money. I’m highly disappointed and frustrated. Nobody told y’all to touch my money!!!!

They literally tried to charge me $108 twice after I purchased the scanner for $20 I’m so happy I didn’t pay in a regular way and thankfully my card keeps declining!!! Update they just tried to charge me $108 again

I have a 2026 Subaru Outback will not scan with verified blue light tried on another vehicle it scanned no help from FIXD

Why do I need to update my phone just to use this app? It worked perfectly fine before and now I can’t use the item I’ve purchased because of this stupid requirement. I’m not ruining my phone just for this stupid app!

Beware!!! I purchased a fixd sensor & never once clicked on or even heard anything about a premium subscription. 2 weeks later they tried to take 105.99$ out of my account. Transaction DENIED!! Beware of this scam

cool device, but just another “to good to be true” product, they will try to hit your account for for a service you may have never signed up for. buyer hope you have a good financial institution.

These people are thieves. I woke up yesterday morning to a large charge to my PayPal account from this company for a premium subscription I never signed up for. And this was done two weeks after I purchased the scanner device, trying to go unnoticed. These people are thieves. Fortunately, PayPal stepped in and I got a full refund. I’m also returning the scanner, unused and unopened for a refund and I will be taking this app off my phone.

All these guys want to do is pull more money from your pocket. They issue a product, then lace it with hidden fees so you have to pay for the info you bought the product for in the first place. Just get a normal OBD2 scan tool and skip the headaches this company brings

The device is cool…but why I randomly got charged $108.86. I only made a one-time purchase.

Buyer beware

I got charged $100 after ordering the tool for cheap, then didn’t even get all the things the order was supposed to come with, and when I downloaded the app, the interface is good for the scanning part but managing ANYTHING having to do with your account is near impossible to do. I had to flag the charge and now I have to order a new card because I can’t use mine anymore… very very shady way of the company handling account user interface.

The device works, but they charged me for a subscription I did not approve. Then to actually cancel the subscription you have to go through multiple pages of bs. This is super shady business and I would never recommend them to anyone

I bought the fixd scanner online , I thought it was a cool gadget. But I never signed up to a subscription!!! I downloaded the app and was waiting to use it one day. Next thing you know , they charged me $100 with out me signing up. I guess they just took my Apple Pay info and signed me up automatically. That a scam if you ask me. With out my permission. !!!!

i don’t know why this app tried to change my card $109.74 without my consent as i didn’t even sign up for anything let alone a free trail, that was uncalled for and unacceptable, i haven’t even used their services, my only vice was ordering their scanner which i haven’t even opened, useless
