Stopped working after sometime and double charging me!
★ · v8.0.40 · Sep 10, 2026I typically don’t write reviews but I spent a lot of money using this app due to a situation I was in where I was receiving blocked calls. Initially the app worked great. Than I noticed it stopped working and I was being double charged. I followed the troubleshooting steps and it still didn’t work before I decided to cancel. I’m going to file a claim with apple. This is ridiculous!

Even if you unmask the call, you will see a number that is not assigned. The feature this app provides is a simple one. You are better off by just being annoyed instead of paying 100 bucks for not blocking robot, spoofed calls

A competitor wins only if the core unmask reliably works and failures are visible. That means rock-solid carrier forwarding setup, verified toll-free ANI capture and honest per-call outcomes. Add fair, transparent billing with one-tap cancel and a durable voicemail archive. TrapCall still has strong revenue and real demand from harassment victims, but its neglect, weekly pricing and cancel traps leave a clear opening. The whole bet hinges on whether ANI capture on toll-free numbers still works across major US carriers, so validate that before writing much app code.
