Speak & Translate - Translator

I have a friend that lives somewhere in Turkey I meet him on tictok he talks to me on my friend Passage, and I still can’t figure out what he’s saying, and now I’m Confused. on how to get Speak and translate to work so it can tell me what my friend is saying. I’m not sure what language is he even speaking? and I don’t see how to get this app to help me so I do not recommend this app to anyone i’m requesting not to keep this app. and I want it canceled and not signed up. This is my seven-day trial. Thank you for letting me try it out I do not recommend it, at least for myself. Thank you again.

its not for free

Stop with the pop up

App lags when trying to speak/write

Enabled mic access. Tried to speak into it but nothing happened. What else do I need to do?

The app still takes a long time to load

I was going to free trial but they already charged. The app was not great, nothing better than free app

Every time I use the app, it asks me for a rating. I would like it but for that.

Before membership work but when I’m membership it’s not good become slow sometimes freezing sometimes long time open it’s not clear

It does not work like you showed in your ad. I am disappointed in canceling.

It sucks… commands are not immediately responsive, and it’s clunky

Sometimes take over a minute to load. It’s like we have gone back 25+ years. If it doesn’t improve soon, I will not renew my subscription. Free google translate is much better.

Todo es mentira

Works sometimes

Don’t waste your money

Paid for full version, but the speak function glitches constantly and 90% of the time requires just typing anyways. Some translations dont translate and just show as the same word that you wrote! Saying 1,2,3,4 just translates to “1234” instead of telling you how that language says those numbers. Free Google translate works better

Pretty short and sweet, great when it works and when it doesn’t embarrasses you, you can try to translate something in front of somebody and have to go back-and-forth several times. Second, there is no gender difference for the Thai language so it’s kind of embarrassing as a male to have a female voice spoken, and this female pronouns for a male and Thai culture not everything revolves around America and some other cultures consider that a different meaning. Honestly, they could do better and between those two things I consider the app somewhat of a disgrace. Finally, the snap feature does not work well and when you try to take pictures of something, it doesn’t translate it properly. Nice attempts but no

Sounds Chinese even though i have it set for English to Swedish

They sent out an update a couple of weeks ago and now it doesn’t know what language you are speaking. It went from good to useless.

Persian and many more languages are not available in voice mode not benifited

Quit asking for a review!!

The up runs but it did not listen, just errors.

Doesn’t work half of the time. Just opens to a blank screen.

Did not realize this was automatically going to create a subscription and charged me $9.99 plus tax per week for almost two months. Unfortunately I did not realize as it was subtracting from my Apple balance which I do not monitor that closely. Reached out to Apple to refund who has provided little/no help so far. Read the other reviews! I expect more from this company and Apple!!!

you literally cant do anything in this app if you dont pay for a subscription. NOT EVEN TEXT. google translate is better than this because at least you can translate something without needing to pay a monthly subscription. dont get this app
