Military Benefits App

Welp, I saw all the IG ads and thought I’d give it a try and then realized that of course some one (who probably isn’t military at all) made an app to tell people about benefits they have earned and in order to find out what you have worked for, they want you to pay. Disappointing the world has turned to this.

App doesn’t work for me everytime I try to open it says to start my membership which I’ve already paid for

Off the bat you want to know my personal info then after you take all that you ask me to pay to find out the things I have owed… deleted right away not worth it and the list of things it shows us bs I’m near Denver so I’d assume there’s a whole lot to do but it shows me things like public lakes and the Va 😂 seems like Google will be cheaper and more helpful

Didn’t even get to check what discounts there are. Seems scammy…wanted to know TSP info and then they hit you with subscription pricing if you want to use the app. No transparency in pricing before download. Fail.

App wants to know your zip and tsp right off the back. Seems like they want to get access your info. Meanwhile im only here to find out about military benefits lol.

A app to save vets money cost them the savings to have the app

$12.99 a month or $59.99 a year. Definitely not worth it. Placing free information behind a paywall disguised as “helping” is scummy behavior.

It’s ridiculous to charge veterans/active duty members to learn about “free” benefits. Do not pay these people trying to take money away from what you deserve.

You cannot do ANYTHING in the app with out subscribing to either a monthly or yearly subscription. We need to take a stand against this!! We shouldn’t have to pay monthly or yearly to learn what benefits military get. I’m sure you can google and learn as much as you can, instead of paying for someone to probably do the same exact thing. I have no problem paying a ONE TIME FEE! Like how stuff use to be! And then if there is an upgrade, I would be willing to pay for it, if the app has proved useful. But this is just taking advantage of a class of citizens that has benefits and making them pay to learn about them. And if the devs are vets, and you set this up like this to charge people (you were for sure the Blue falcon of the group), you should be ashamed of yourself. I bet you complained all the time, when you were in, about subscriptions and “loot boxes” and stuff like that. Be better than the other apps out there, don’t charge monthly… charge a one time fee. If the app is good enough, you can ask for donations for improvements. If it was good enough, I’d be willing to donate, if it’s benefitted anything I’ve done!

Great concept but why would you create an app for military discounts but create it a subscription and charge for it. Deleted it immediately after downloading.

Does this app need to know what money I have and were?

It’s a cool app, and could be useful, but it’s definitely not worth $60/yr

App is a scam. How are you “finding” benefits for veterans and charging them for it? All of these can be searched online very easily. App offered me nothing I didn’t already know.

When I got this app I didn’t realize that every feature requires a payment. For someone who already doesn’t make enough money in the first place and am trying to save money I can’t afford to pay for more stuff. So maybe this review is skewed because I can’t reach all the features but I think for anyone else they should know this.

What a scam idea of an app! Get people to pay to see what discounts they qualify for? What a joke, creator must be a total POS

I would give this 0 stars if I could. I absolutely refuse to Pay $13 a month for so called benefits. To me the only one(s) that benefit are the App creators. I see this as a scam and a way to take advantage of a vulnerable person.

Don’t bother. There is no free, limited version. Everything is a paid. A well crafted ChatGPT prompt can get you the same info for free.

Great in theory but I’ll pass on a monthly or annual fee when I’ve been finding these discounts for free elsewhere for the last two decades.

The app is not worth the money. The amount of discounts available is minimal. You find more with a simple Google search or asking your community. You pay for the privilege of adding discounts you find to the app. The CC perks tracking is also not worth it the price tag.

Thought the premium would give better benefits for veterans but its only for active duty. Canceled the free trial and it still automatically renewed for the yearly subscription

Instant paywall and Rating Request. I would suggest changing how your app is ux is handled. At the very least give folks the ability to explore. UI is slick but there isn’t any actual premium features that I can just find elsewhere for free these days. It does aggregate resources but those resources are publicly available everywhere.

If i need data found in me why use this app. If your going to serve vets then dont ask for there info. Unless they want help! Dang about to delete this. Kids good on youtube on all the cool things wants me to look things up but if i have to give my kidney to do so im out.
