Value Scout - AI Value Scanner

I purchased the app and once I tried to use the app, it asked me for more money. I emailed customer service and they respond back that someone would contact me about the issue. No one responded back to me and I sent several other emails reference to the problem. When they responded back, it was very generic. They didn’t resolve the root of the problem.

I was really excited and wanna try this app. It’s unfortunate that it linked to the incorrect eBay account and I can’t fix it. I have emailed the support team at least three times with zero response.

Terrible company. No customer service. Rip off 100% . DO NOT USE.

So I downloaded this even after reading a ton of one star reviews. I scanned about six items and it was very wrong about all of them. One of them I had in my hand and it's a 3 inch decorative vintage plate and it said it was a 10 inch plate. I had some shorts that said it was a $18 value but the brand is actually close to $100. I also did a vintage ceramic set and it didn't get anywhere near close to what it was where it said 88% certainty. I did a Google reverse image search for free and it told me exactly what the item was and what it's worth. So don't waste your money on something like this just use Google for free

Don’t waste your money

They force you to buy a subscription in order to USE AN APP THAT DOESNT EVEN WORK. The valuations are way off!

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE THIS THROUGH FACEBOOK!!! The link is a scam and they will steal your money. I have filed a complaint through Meta and hope to hear back soon.

Paid $46 for lifetime access then downloaded the app and it does not work at all. Cannot even sign in. Requesting my money back.

Won’t work at all unless you pay like $80 a year. It’s stupid and a scam.

I signed up via a Facebook ad for 3 months “best value” because there was a money-back guarantee in the ad. When I used it, products were identified incorrectly & I decided I didn’t want it … when I canceled I was told their “refund policy does not allow full refunds” and as a courtesy they would give me 50%. Bad experience signing up, disappointing app, deceptive promises. canceled after 30 mins that cost me 24 dollars.

I downloaded the app and it won’t give me a place to sign up. The graphics are too big so the sign up button is not accessible.

I paid for 3 months. When I got the confirmation email, the link to sign in didn’t work! Bad omen. Downloaded app and set up account but it wasn’t synced with my paid account. I scanned one item I knew the estimated price, and this app was totally off. I scanned a Tiffany silver bowl (sold on eBay and auction houses) and it estimated $600 when the market value is over $4k! My subscription says 90 scans only when I bought 3 months unlimited for $49! Cancelled subscription immediately but have no customer service to confirm. Only AI responses. This app has so many glitches and can’t value things other than common collectibles on eBay or Etsy! Very disappointing not to mention that they ask for more fees for further valuations or choices.

Was working this morning and now it fails at everything I try to get it to scan.

It’s trial and error each task

There’s nothing that says this is subscription based app before it’s downloaded! To pay $80 a year for an app that one can’t even try out is STEEP! Have no interest in using the app for that price!!

I signed up through a link in an email. The deal I was offered was not as good as what is offered in the app. When you sign up through the link the app is unusable. You must the site through your browser. When you take a picture to scan it rarely works. You usually need to take a picture and save it first. Then you can upload it. Identification is ok but is pretty generic most of the time. Price suggestions are pretty good. It has been a disappointing experience so far.

Don’t waste your money yet on this app. It needs another year or so of work. It doesn’t correctly identify or scan most vintage items that are not clothing and it is very cumbersome in process. Better off using Gemini or Chatgbt for now.

Immediately deleted this app. What they don’t tell you is that there is NO free level functionality beyond a 3-day trial. Then they charge you. Upon first opening the app you are forced to choose a “Pro” plan. Spoiler alert: there is no non-pro plan! I’m so sick of the subscription model! I do not mind paying for an app that I will use, but I’m not going to pay for it over and over again! And Apple, please require forced subscriptions to be disclosed in the App Store, not only after download!

Don’t buy they want to charge over and over nothing works

Signed up but when I went to list my first item it keeps giving me an error message so I just deleted the app.

Hate it! Cannot figure how to make sure I do not get billed past my trial period. I can’t find an email to send to. Just happened to find this post.

App is worthless

Signed up, and paid and took photo of a rare book. And wouldn’t give me value or post due to something wrong about how site was seeing my photos and then took me out and I couldn’t get back in. This is unacceptable

This app is horrible. I paid 49$ for it and can’t even use it. It opened maybe twice but then will not let me use it until I pay more money. I sent a complaint to cancel and get refunded. I received an email that they would cancel but no refund. I was told I could continue to use it for a month but the app will not open unless I pay more money. What a waste of time and money. Stay away!!

DO NOT BUY THIS APP. I tried using it for a few minutes and it sucked. It did not work as they claim. I’ve tried getting a $40 refund for weeks and they said they would refund it but they keep making excuses and not sending me a refund. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!
