They force you to sign up for their free trial to use the app and of course the only free trial is for the yearly subscription so if you forget they take 70$ from you.

Way too much money

When I got this app, I was met with a paywall to get the full version of the app. I wanted to use the free version, but it would not let me unless I signed up for the free trial and put my card information in. It then said it would notify me when my free trial was about to end, it never did. Instead it charged me $90 dollars for the full version when I never wanted it in the first place, but it never gave me an option to keep using the non premium version. Sure, the app is useful, but it scams you to get the paid version. Very poor ethics.

Forces you to listen to a random radio call and then do a survey before they even tell you the price. Waste of time and money

Hell no I wanted to listen to ATC to listen to my friends and family not pay for it fix it or I sue

There is no free version or anything. $90/Year or $6/Week is crazy expensive.

The whole reason I bought the app was to listen to the traffic at my work/airport. Worked great until it didn't, now for going on a week there's no transmissions or anything at my airport, just says slow connection 24/7

DO NOT TRUST THE “FREE” TRIAL. I was forced to sign up for a “free” trial to check out the app. I cancelled my trial a day later yet I was still charged a subscription. I have proof of my cancellation prior to the end of my trial, yet they still charged me, and refused my request for refund. BUYER BEWARE

I just wanted to use the app but it was like you have to spend $5.99/wk and i have no money on my phone why is it not free it says it is but isnt

Super annoying intro and just when you think it’s over you need to pay 90$…

Just clicked on a highlighted link for a fire reported at MYF and heard what I’m pretty sure are the death screams of a 172 pilot that attempted a go around and crashed at MYF today. Why would you highlight and share something so dark and disturbing?

Made by AVGeeks who don’t understand UX well. I love opening an app and immediately having a solid 2 mins of non skippable garbage. App could be good I don’t know I deleted it before I could get any use out of it.

App seems like it would be free. Ads make it seem free. You have to sit through a couple minute long intro before you get stuck either agreeing to do a 7 day trial for a yearly plan or pay weekly. Don’t waste your time when there are free feeds online and free apps.

I do not want to sign up for the free trial. I want to use the app’s free features.

Saw this app on TikTok and decided to try it out since I have an upcoming flight. You literally cannot use this app unless you do the “free trial, pay after a week” scheme. Like brother….let me try the app first before entering any type of card information. But nope. Will not let you pass go unless you put in a financial card. Wack af.

Ad says free but not free

I signed up for ATC with a seven day free trial. In less than 24 hours after using the app, I canceled the free trial because the app did not cover the airports. I was most interested in listening to. After seven days, I was billed $5.99 even though my Apple account clearly showed that the app was canceled and inactive. Apple refused to refund the payment simply stating that it did not qualify for a refund and gave no further details after appeal to Apple. They still refused to refund the payment again with no justification other than it did not qualify. The free trial is a total scam!

We are all struggling so hard. You know that old song from the 20s that goes “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer”? The wealth gap is so so so so much bigger now. Judging by the amount of advertising and high reviews you have, yall have a large customer base, so you’re not struggling to pay for the app to run. Only allowing a free trial if you pre-commit to the YEARLY option is greedy on yalls part. You not only know, but rely on the fact that people forget to cancel their subscription. Especially those who are busy working to afford to eat. $90 isn’t a small amount of money for us. It would be so nice to have quick and easy access to listening to ATC, but not for the cost of a days worth of food per week. I want yall to genuinely think about the people. Give us some sort of free option to even OPEN THE APP, or at the least allow the free trial on both payment plans. You’d be just fine. The price as-is is insane. Be better. For the people. Look inside and find your empathy.

Advertise it and it sounded like it would be cool. Downloaded it. And then nothing. Can’t even listen without signing up with a free trial. Don’t want to sign up for any trials. Just wanted to listen and see how it is but this app is worthless without signing up.

ATC feeds are freely available online. Why would I pay a stiff ongoing subscription when I can get it elsewhere for free?
