TextPort: Text Message Export

I’m happy I only purchased one week for $9.99 because when I went to download it onto my desktop I could because it said there was a virus detected. I did it twice. Same thing. If this is just a hiccup, I hope they fix it.

No matter what I try to do. When trying to save (import) text messages.

Didn’t work for me

Doesn’t tell you that you have to also buy a “shortcut” app and after an hour, three of us could not figure it out. Also could not identify how to get help.

The desktop version doesn’t even open. I don’t know why it doesn’t work, right?

The app is highly deceptive putting paywalls after everything is processed. I'm not paying $10+ dollars for an export that is free with a computer. Don't recommend at all.

I have an abusive ex husband who has been in and out of my daughter’s life, and was needing to export my iPhone texts to get ready for a possible court date with him. This app was great in that it was easy to capture things with screen recording however, it did not write the texts in correct order nor include all the texts in my short video. Would be a nice cheap option for someone wanting to use it for personal reasons, but absolutely not up to par for any court case

While getting ready for child support court I figured I would give this app a try. Yes, I will say that I did have a long export but even when I broke it town into sections I still had problems. After fact checking, I noticed things I know I texted located under the opposite party and vice versa multiple times. I went back and tried again repeatedly on my tablet and on my phone via screen recording but the same issues prevail. Maybe this works better by plugging the device in. When I’m able to purchase another laptop I guess I’ll try. Until then, the app is useless to me.

If you’re trying to work on your phone you still have to screenshot all the texts and import them to the app. What’s the point of the app? I can screenshot texts myself.

They bill you double without telling you and scam you out of money. I’m trying to find a way to resolve this

You can just screen record and save opposed to this app charging you to do the same exact thing

After downloading the app a minute ago, I attempted to open it on my 17Pro… while the app opens, it’s stays stuck on the screen with a pink scanner going up and down. There’s a continue option on the bottom of the screen that doesn’t work when you tap it. It’s unfortunate

This app is terrible. It does not get the photos or videos. Also, of you have Apple Pay on your messages it does not include the amount. Additionally, there were several errors in the messages. Incorrect dates and time stamps.

Plus I paid for the year, immediately cancelled, and they did NOT refund the fee. Booo

I signed up for this app on December 15. It was not what I needed. I canceled it on December 31. I am still being billed as of today, June 11, 2026. I have sent three emails to cancel and this will not be canceled.

The one I downloaded has the “ads” marker meaning it’s supported by ads. Nope. First screen is you chosen subscription. And it isn’t cheap.

I tried using this feature to export text messages for a lawyer, but the results were unreliable — messages were missing, others were out of order, and the camera/video method was too time-consuming. I ended up switching to a different program.

got this to be able to dump long message dialogs into legally clean form, a thing advertised. when attempting to do that, the only option in the app was to “record screen” and then manually scroll through messages. i wanted transcripts as it claimed with a dump, not a fifteen minute manual scroll through each message thread. using desktop message app and then going back in time and using the print function let me dump the pdf and then pipe that to text FREE with hella less effort. i should know better, most apps these days are garbage.

I agree to one week for $8.99 and charged $28.99?!

You can't even export one conversation without paying. But I'm sure they kept my data!

You have to screenshot every message and don’t need an app for that!

The windows desktop download that is required for transferring texts to desktop contains a virus and could not be utilized. For me, the app was useless
