Truly you would be a fool to pay for this app. It does everything the default weather app does, but it’s just ugly and has some miscellaneous features nobody would ever care to use. It’s especially egregious to charge money for this app when it’s really nothing special. Just use the default weather app.

Terrible! Watch NOAA instead ! $25 US up in smoke. This app is totally misleading; expensive; be careful; get NOAA Forecasts instead! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Your US Federal Taxes are are already paying for NOAA forecasts. Encourage the Federal Administration to continue to fund NOAA , maintain high standards and accuracy, staffing levels and restoring satellite fleet.

Definitely trial this app before paying. I was an original Dark Skies user and loved that app. I had this one for a couple of days before removing it. It does not seem to be working correctly. Maybe down the road after some glitches get worked out, but definitely not worth right now

This app‘s accuracy is the worst. I’m a weather nut and I have many weather apps installed. The last 10 times Acme Weather said to expect rain, there has been no rain. Its temperature predictions are off. I paid to subscribe to this app. I had a high hopes for it … but now I wish I had my money back.

Every morning I open up the app. Every morning it says it’s going to rain for the next hour. Same report, even if there’s not a cloud in the sky.

Someone commented “Dark Sky is back”. I strongly disagree with this statement. Accuracy of this weather app is extremely low, notifications for weather alerts are turned on but never actually come through and there have been no improvements during my time of use. Unless the app dev team truly dives into fixing the issues, I’ll call it a waste of time and money and discontinue my subscription.

The app keeps switching to showing the weather in someplace called Cambridge (which one? England, Massachusetts, ?). I want it to show the weather where I am. I already set my location as a favorite but that seems to have no effect.

It’s a lot of work to quickly find details for the day. The graphs are nice, but you have to change what you’re looking at for each detail and scroll to the time to get details when there are times I just want to see a quick table of all the details for the day by hour

I regret my enthusiasm for buying the ‘Dark Sky’ clarity. And what happened to the more specific time when rain would start. At the end of the day it’s either nice or cold or wet for most of us. Make this easier. Not all weather conditions are equal. If you’re looking for the amazing g DARK SKY this ain’t it. Yet.

This app reminds me of the OG dark sky days but the Apple Watch feels sluggish and often doesn’t even display accurate information. My iPhone app will show the correct data for the current location while the Apple Watch app will show something completely off (aka all 10 days of data don’t align between my watch and phone). The Apple Watch complications also don’t update frequently enough nor are they colored. The white complication makes it all feel like the Apple Watch app is an afterthought. Wouldn’t recommend the app in its current state.

This app made big claims about being developed by engineers from Apple. They must have been the ones that developed the original Apple Maps. Save your $ and don’t bother being a subscriber. There is little information in the app other than the temperature. The radar is worthless and no real forecast for upcoming weather.

I really wish I could customize the Home Screen of the app in a widget like manner. Meaning so I could put a fixed precipitation container up top. Then the temperature one. And LET IT SIT THERE. Rather than the top area of the app constantly changing and putting whatever it wants to show first and I have to scroll down, sometimes 2x times further past some new containers I didn’t ask for, just to get to that temperature container and then do another click to get to precipitation mode. There’s literally no muscle memory can be formed and to be able to quickly glance through the data when on each app open there’s differently designed stuff up top pushing everything else down. It’s not a News app for clouds sake. I don’t have to read through everything on the cover first. I need to be quickly in and out. Right now it’s just SO MUCH unnecessary friction. ps and what’s even the deal with bottom navigation. Those buttons need to work as tabs, not to open popups that you have to X out from

Not impressed at all. Awkward to navigate. Expected more are reading press releases but disappointed overall. Signed up for annual subscription but will not be renewing.

It’s nice but not better. Really, all I wanted was the animated 5 day pacification Forcast map that they had in dark sky. But also the widgets have issues. It shows the low. But not you can’t tell if that’s for the morning or evening. So you can’t see what the overnight low is … at least not in one widget.

No iPad/Mac apps. Then when I had a basic question and submitted to support, no response for over two weeks, despite a follow up. Not what I expect for $25/year.

Doesn’t have a live or future radar. Useless during storms. Was a huge fan of dark sky, but they have ways to go. Don’t get until they make it weather worthy.

Don’t mind paying for an accurate weather app.

Immediate 1 star. Did the trial, and while it’s a nice app, the steep $25 fee and NO family share tells me it’s nothing but a money grab. Too bad because husband and myself would have gladly paid $25 to share between us. If things change, I’ll update and subscribe.

These slippery devs are very careful with their word choices. “Get two weeks free, but we won’t tell you that you can’t even get into the app without giving us your credit card information so you can pay for the other two weeks.” Report the app to Apple for deceptive practices.

It’s a good weather app, about as accurate as Hello Weather, but with no family sharing I’ll be reverting back to my previously used app which allowed family sharing and lifetime subscriptions.

Get it early so that you can maximize your use before they rug the all and get acquired again.

I looked at it with my dad but when I downloaded the app it made me pay immediately and I couldn’t get off of it and things like that make me mad and I don’t want to pay for a weather app when I could use others ones like CARROT weather app I’m not saying it’s bad if you like it I’m sorry

This is nothing like Dark Sky. The radar does not have motion, it is static with arrows. The whole layout is confusing to look at. It’s not worth $25 a year for weather you can get free elsewhere.

Out of all my weather apps, this is the least accurate. There is no way this is worth $25/year. The local conditions are no where near what my actual temps are. I will be deleting this app before the trial has ended.
