What’s the point of this app if you can’t even go past the free trial? Can’t even experience what the app is about without immediately being charged $90 . Useless, scamming app filled with robots leaving fake reviews. Can’t even COMPETE with DUOLINGO.

I was under the impression that I could use this app for free and it won’t even let me past anything without “accepting the trail”. I don’t want a trail , for once I would like to learn Spanish without the extra stuff. I’m so sad and disappointed once again

Did you guys know how to skip for free trial I can’t I tried download this app and it’s asked to pay for free trial and when I try to find a skip button, I cannot find it so do you guys know how to skip it or did it happen to some of you guys?

Lots of small ways, this app puts you in a psychological trap to pay them money while offering pretty low quality in terms of the actual functionality… Asking you to rate it upfront, super long questionnaire, so you feel invested not letting you try any features until you pay in advance

It keeps saying I can’t make a payment on the website and that there was an error on the app? I even tried with the free trial enabled. I just wanna try the app

This is the worst App ever created. The lessons are pretty good. The problem is that you don’t get to choose the lessons that you want to learn. You have to unlock lessons by completing a sequence of lessons. It’s so freaking frustrating. I’m paying for something and I don’t get to choose how to use it. Don’t waste your money on this basura.

I want to cancel my subscription but I can’t. I tried typing in my email to delete subscription but no purchase is found. I did the free trial and I decided that it is not for me. If I delete my account I am still subscribed. I do not want to be subscribed. Delete my subscription

There is NO FREE VERSION of this app. You MUST purchase a subscription to use it. Completely pointless and false advertising. You can't access any app features without starting a free trial

Need to pay to even use it

It does not give you a notification about the free trial ending like it says it will!!

Even my bank knew this was fraud. There is zero actual customer support it is all AI. Once your money goes through it is gone and no way to get it back. My bank replaced my card and even called me telling me this is a known scam company

This app is a scam. It signs you up for a free trial with no option to cancel it like other Apple subscriptions, and without warning charges you $90 and only has a support email that you have to wait 24-72 hours for a reply. If you’re wanting to learn a language without getting scammed, Duolingo is the better option.

Bait and switch tactics. You are told it’s free and then there is a payment option then it implies that there is no commitment just to be prevented from even trying it out without a payment plan.

I’m giving a low rating because the instructor in my very first Spanish video claimed that for a fluent English speaker, Spanish is easy to learn because they are both Latin languages. First of all, the correct term is Romance language (the only Latin language is straight-up Latin!). Second, while Spanish is a Romance language, English most certainly is not. Yes, English was heavily influenced by French (a Romance language) after the 1066 Norman Conquest, which gave us a lot of borrowed vocabulary. However, English is fundamentally a GERMANIC language. Despite the borrowed Latin words, our grammar, syntax, sentence structure, and most common, everyday words (like water, house, strong, I, you) remain distinctly Germanic. If I were learning German, and the instructor told me it might be easier to learn because of our shared roots, that would be accurate. Also it’s trying to teach me that “el” means both the and he. But he is “Él” so they shouldn’t treat that as the came. This made me laugh.

I downloaded it today and signed up for a free trial and it froze on me 3 times so far and right now it’s telling I am having connectivity issues, but no issues with any other apps

I don’t think it should cost money to be able to learn a language. I have been wanting to learn Spanish for my boyfriend who speaks it. When I heard that this works way better than duo lingo or the other language learning apps, I was excited to actually do it. And as I was setting it up that’s when it came up that you have to pay for it. I think that is wrong. Nobody should have to pay for wanting to learn a language whatever it’s for. This is wrong. As soon as I seen it I deleted it. They need to fix that.

I would’ve absolutely rated 5 stars on purpose had it been advertised that you have to pay from jump. I don’t like being ambushed, so making an account & then realizing in order to continue you have to pay is irritating. Please just advertise that in your ads. I understand it’s a small team of people & I would totally pay if I have the extra bucks but make it clear that there is no point in downloading unless you have the money on hand.

Just another clickbait ’Free’ app. You spend all of this time entering info to get started then they hit you with monthly cost to start. Who cares that there is a “free trial” period. Don’t bother to try, just delete the app and go to another one that doesn’t try to scam you!

I got the free trial, and I was going to cancel so I can manually purchase the content and not subscribe till I was ready & it’s extremely hard to unsubscribe!

It says that I can have a 7 day free trial but it won’t let me let the app to see if I like the set up unless I select/purchase a package. If you can’t let me try what is offered, is paying for it even worth it? How am I supposed to know if it is actually going to benefit me? I’m not paying a penny until i can see how the app runs first.
