I set up my account on desktop and then tried to open the app and I logged in using my details and it is asking me to enter the same info again. Also I get to my phone number and it will not accept it. There is nowhere to click submit and I cannot move past the screen.

It wot let me press continue when I put in my phone number and when I press sign in at the new beginners so many bugs

This app is solely canvas ugc meaning they only pay if you get a certain amount of views and a lot of the brands aren’t properly vetted and lie about the pricing they have on their postings which builds distrust with creators. I’ve come across too many brands wanting you to make 60 videos a month for literal Pennie’s and also expecting you to create new social media accounts and cross posting them. Gonna go ahead and delete this app due to this and coming across so many fraudulent brands lying about the pay.

I got to the page of types of companies possible to work for and there is no moving forward from that screen. I relaunched the app but same thing. I click all over the screen but nothing happens.

I used to like Sideshift because it was one of the platforms where creators could quickly find and apply for UGC opportunities without jumping through unnecessary hoops. Unfortunately, the new changes have made the experience much worse. The new video-upload feature feels heavily designed to benefit brands rather than creators. Brands can now request trial videos before accepting creators for a gig, which means creators may be producing free content with no guarantee of payment or selection. That is a lot of unpaid creative work being extracted from creators simply for the opportunity to apply. On top of that, applications that used to be quick are now filled with multiple questions and requirements before you can even apply. Applying to several gigs can become exhausting and time-consuming. Applying to gigs quickly during lunch break at work or in a bus or before bed when one is very tired seems impossible now. The biggest concern is the video-upload system. If creators upload original videos to the platform and brands can use those videos without properly obtaining permission, licensing them, or compensating the creator, that creates a serious imbalance. Creators should retain control over their content and should not have to give brands free creative assets just to be considered for a job. There is nothing wrong with improving a platform, but these changes should not come at the expense of the people creating the content. Sideshift built its appeal around being simple, fast, and creator-friendly. This update moves it in the opposite direction. My recommendation: downgrade this feature/update. Bring back the quick, straightforward application experience that made the platform appealing in the first place.

Once it comes time to withdraw your money expect issues everytime. The IT team is amazing but never have I ever experienced so many issues with trying to withdraw money that I have earned. Expect to be emailing back and forth on a weekly basis

The app will not let me move beyond the phone number portion so signup is impossible via app. I’m using iphone 15 pro.

Learn to know what an app is; get off social media. Why you have a business for.

I am a brand new UGC creator. I hear a lot of people talk about SideShift so I decided to sign up for this platform as well as some others. This is the most confusing and not beginner friendly at all. They advertise that you don’t have to have experience to be on this platform, yet you’re not able to upload any sample videos without having had some type of paid brand deal. According to the training that is on SideShift, you should be able to go under experience and upload a placeholder there as your experience. But that video is obviously outdated, because when I do that, it forces me to link the brand who I did that video for. I have not had any brand deals yet so therefore I can’t link anything there. Everything else on the app wants me to link my social media to show my work. I only have personal social media because I’m just starting out. There’s literally no way to show your qualities on this app without having done some type of brand work in the past. It is so frustrating because that’s not how it’s advertised.

Can’t even got out of the sign up page. Screen keeps freezing

DON’T subscribe to pro if you don’t plan to keep the app!! You will be charged 19.99 a month whether you’re getting paid or not. As an iPhone user if you don’t pay for the subscription you won’t be able to download apps and that really sucks. I deleted my profile and it’s still trying to charge my card!! 🤯

This app would not even let me get to the actual app. It just asked for my name and would not let me continue.

I tried to join a campaign with this app and when I left I have 7 eligible videos that went beyond 1k views and a month has passed and they still haven’t paid me the amount owed which is $70. Saying the brand has to agree with paying me before I can get that payment. It’s freaking $70!! How bad could it be if more than that. This app is the worst app invented.

This app has been a headache from the very first minute I started using it. The worst part is that I paid for the Pro version, the money was charged to my account, and yet, when I logged in, it still kept asking me to pay for the Pro version. There is no way to contact customer service to resolve this issue because apparently you have to pay for the full version just to have access to the help center. Absolutely unbelievable! I need a refund because I paid for a service that I am not receiving.

When I signed up I was required to select the free trial for Pro Annual. I was not given an option to just sign up for the free account. The Pro Annual membership free trial expired three days later and because of life I didn’t catch it and was charged the full amount of $59 for the year. The app is filled with nothing but AI gigs which I am not interested in at all. So now my time and money has been wasted. I can’t get a refund and I’m unable to use the app.

Paid for the subscription and as I was signing up, couldn’t get past the email verification. Tried multiple times and even deleted and re-downloaded the app. Honestly SO frustrating and disappointed

When trying to log it it allows me to subscribe for the free trial but then says to verify my email and no email was sent to my account! Dissapointed :(

The fact that they force you into a trial that cost way over $20 is so uncomfortable. There’s not even an x button or a way to opt out you just gotta get into the trial.

I don’t know about the content creator side of things but managing a ugc project with this service is a headache. So many clunky and buggy things to deal with. The mobile app is almost useless. The only reprieve is the ability to find ugc creators

It will not let me add my email to sign up at all! It says an email verification was sent but never was actually sent so i'm stuck on that screen! I tried 3 different emails and i run into the same issue so it must be a bug that has yet to be fixed.

Whenever it keeps asking me to put my email address, I type it out and then it says “network error, complete email verification before creating account” like that isn’t exactly what I am trying to do.

This app has no way to filter out all of the ai gigs, or a way to filter out what ads fit your niche.. no verified brand is on here but those slop ads spammed on TikTok and Instagram. Even clavicular is on this app. Better use H/FC for gigs.
