Bevel: AI Health Coach

Not insightful and not worth it. Bevel simply not helpful. Gpt can do everything this app does. Bevel will tell me not to workout when I feel totally fine. Interpretation of data is entirely off. If you don’t wear a device while you sleep it’s completely useless. Uploading health data is not added correctly and some fields don’t allow for the right referencing ranges. It really is not insightful at all. This is rudimentary at best and certainly not what is marketed. Save your money.

Asking me to start the trial without even letting me see what’s inside the app? Whose genius idea was that? Deleted immediately

Could be a great app. If you got rid of the AI, that’s just screwing our planet and our brains. Honestly, the AI is unnecessary. You’re tracking vitals and food. All that can be done with a computer program. I got this app when it was just called Bevel. Not knowing the AI was a part of it. I’m glad that at least they updated the name to be clear about what it is. But I’ll be deleting it now. If you ever get rid of the AI, I’ll definitely be back.

It stops working properly after a few weeks. Maybe I need the subscription app and not the free version. #Recovery is probably the data point I look at the most. And nothing.

Won’t open on 27.1 beta Crashes immediately I’m sure it’s a great app and I’ll change it as soon as the developer can address this issue. Thanks!!

App crashes upon opening and stopped working.

The app crashes as soon as I open it every single time.

Have to constantly be checking Bevel agains hand recorded data from Garmin and Oura Inaccuracies are abundant. Not to be trusted. Always presenting insights and recommendations based on old data as well. I could go on. It's a great idea in theory but execution is very poor.

Used to be a great platform but the AI is falling behind in terms of knowing how to achieve different workout outcomes (hypertrophy, conditioning, strength) and the UI lags and gets stuck between screens. It also doesn’t let you see your ongoing workout on your phone lock screen anymore nor can you go back to your workout after accidentally closing the app. Not sure why those features were removed…

The app itself looks really nice, but for a premium app like this I expect basic functions to work. For example for some reason my app doesn’t show carbs only protein and fat, even though I’m looking carb meals. It has a tendency to lag a ton on the app. And it doesn’t have a live calories/hrv with Fitbit, only a retro view at the end of the day. Fun if you want to be an early user/got money to burn

I saw an ad on instagram saying it was free to use, but when i opened it i was hit with a free 7-day trial and then 14.99 per month IMMEDIATE DELETE.

Very bad because they say its free not free for 14 days. Seems a little scamy. Others give free access and you can upgrade not this one. Your ads are not honest!

I currently have the app site to SICK, but it has prompted me several times a day to make entries. If it is set to sick, I don’t think it should do that.

Not gonna harp on the whole ‘i signed up because it was free’, I gave it month expecting to be wowed and only got meh’ed. The bang for the buck isn’t there, no groundbreaking insight or info. And I’ll update my review and provide more info when you tell me where I can send an invoice to you w/ how much time of my life your garbage has wasted….

It always ask you to stay on bed and don’t go to gym.

Everything I’ve seen and read says it’s free. The only thing that it tells me is my stress level you have to pay for everything else.

When I downloaded the app, it was because I was seeing advertisement somehow it’s free. I’m very displayed that the first thing I see you whenever I’m creating the account is a request for a subscription.

The app try’s to do too much. A 7 day trial isn’t enough time to get the full experience. Also they need to stop the false advertising saying “Bevel is now free” it’s not free. If it was free there wouldn’t be a subscription option…

Initially suggested a 3100 calorie program for a bulk, even though I told it several times that would not be enough. I then dropped weight because I decided to try to follow that plan. It never wants you to train full intensity, and is incredibly annoying about it.

I downloaded after seeing an advertisement saying free. Thought that would have paid options. However the first thing it wanted was $$. Closed the app since I couldn’t find a let me explore the free first, or the standard x. Reopened to find absolutely nothing is available to do without paying. Everything was greyed out. You might have been able to convince me to pay your sub, had I been able to see and experience the app to find a value to it in my life. Too many apps these days want your payment info and still charge after the ‘free week’ after cancellation. Good luck.

They tell you their service is free until after you sign up and then it is only a 7 day trail period, and they make it hard to cancel the service.

Data rarely syncs like it supposed too. Just go buy a whoop and be done with it.

The ads tell you app is completely free but it’s a trial then pay monthly or yearly.

Don’t wake up in the middle of the morning and go back to bed because Bevel will not realize that you went back to sleep at all when other apps like autosleep have no problem. The troubleshooting to fix this is like jumping through hoops and even after you do it nothing changes. This app is way too. nuch work. Needs much overhauling.

This app just wants you to lay on the couch all day doing nothing. Go for a 2 mile run? Better take the week off. Compared to Garmin training readiness, this app sucks and is over tuned for wanting people to be lazy.
