HuntWise: A Better Hunting App

What garbage the map for predicting with wind is a big white blob, lol you can tell anything with it. Glad I use BaseMap now. You get what you pay for

I used to be able to slide the slider across the huntcast timeline and get the predicted movement percentage, temperature, and wind speed all at the same time. Now I have to slide the slider to the time, then slide the slider across the top to see the movement percentage for that hour, and I no longer have the ability to see temperature. Will not be renewing my subscription

Every year they take away a feature so you will pay for it. Then they move that feature into higher tier the next year. On top of that the info has not aligned with deer movement in my area in the slightest. The gps is not very good for marking stands and trails. Ask me 5 years ago I would have said it was great. But the greed of the app owners/developers are driving it into the ground

You have to pay to do anything in the app basically but if you want to draw some lines and get no where it’s great for that

I got the free trial with a hunters Ed course and then couldn’t ever figure out how to cancel it. When I reached out for help they didn’t help at all and there was never any way to actually speak to someone real. I couldn’t ever get a refund for my year subscription that I didn’t want in the first place and have never used. I’ll probably get charged next year too because it’s impossible to cancel if you didn’t sign up directly through the app.

I have recently dealt with several trespassers that claim it’s ok to hunt on my private land. They state they know me when talking to me (not knowing it’s me they are speaking with). I also started to receive a lot of unsolicited phone calls asking to use my farm for hunting. All claim it’s from this app. Basically this app takes your personal information and sells it via a subscription to hunters. They say it’s ok because it’s “public information” they pull the information from the same place a realtor would. I have submitted complaints everywhere I can. I think it’s wild they can sell my personal information.

After the last update now the wind direction arrows are all screwed up

You guys can not charge me money for no reason, I just download your app and you charge me for 65$

The free version doesn’t do anything at all. Forced to buy the pro version….

I signed up on the free trial, that same day I canceled my trial because the app wasn’t what I needed. A day later they charged me $119 plus the tax…. These people are sneaky… they WILL CHARGE you. Even if you cancel the free subscription

This app is the domest app I hate it doesn’t even call in animals

My credit card was charged for renewal, and then charge again 9 times. Thankfully my card company caught it and declined it. But now the app doesn’t work. I canceled the service and received an email stating I had elite services for a year, but today I tried to use it and it doesn’t work. I have tried several times to email them with no response from them. Reviewing the reviews I would say they have a problem that started recently. If I don’t hear from them by Jan 13 I will contact Michigan AG office.

Had it for a whole year was expecting it to get better not worse. All they did was put restrictions on stuff that I already got in the past and lost it so why would I renew my subscription?😡

This app has not been right yet on the deer % to move it said 99% a d we did not see one deer this has happened twice now fix this huntwise

Has turned into a business

The app was amazing. I saw everything I wanted like wind direction and percent of deer movement. I woke up on Friday to go Hunting that morning and the app would not let me see the dear percentage on it. I am so mad with this right now if it would not give me the week, I would put a one star on here. I am so mad it will not show me the weekend. You know one star. You have to pay 19 dollars a month or over 50 dollars a year. 😡😡😡it said 22% movement of deer. So please take a guess what was at my stand!! A lot of deer!!! Btw, that was on Monday!!!

How come just before this last update I had to call 30 plus times and still never got a refund or some type of compensation due to the fact that my app wasn’t working properly (the huntcast) finally came out with an update and now land ownership names are reverted back to 2020 or before! I know this because when I looked up a name it said my mother still owned a house that she sold back in 2020! What a joke this app has become and I just got charged about a week ago for my elite subscription for the year yet every time almost when I open the app I have ads popping up and blocking my screen that I have to close out of!! I paid for the elite and still get ads/spam and reverted landownership. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤬🤬🤬 Send me my refund please!

Signed up for a hunter safety course and didn’t realized I subscribed to this.

The maps are several years old and if not updated soon I will cancel my subscription.

i never requested to purchase this product, yet a payment from my acct is pending from 11/22 . there is no easy cancellation and it’s just wrong that they can hold you up like thugs on a street!

You get nothing in the free version of this app. Everything is locked behind the pro and elite memberships. Can’t even see if it’s something you’d be willing to pay for because every feature is locked besides what direction the wind is going. And if you’re not a moron you can figure that out without an app.
