Without notice they have taken away one of the most valuable features of the application- the automatic labeling of speakers. Clearly they don’t care about users have trusted them to be a great source of meeting notes. Look for another more reliable and honest option.

I paused an all day recoding and it stopped it after the fact and processed it! Frustrating

That’s all I have to say, it’s disrespectful to your customers. I was one of the first participants in your kickstarter. I’m disappointed.

This is great when it connects, but trying to get real human support is frustrating when it doesn’t connect. The chat doesn’t give enough help. Also would be nice to tell it some of things you want out of recording. Although it’s notes are pretty thorough. But when you can’t connect it’s all moot.

First I enjoyed plaud. But now it’s getting worse. I paid over $200 for the device. The subscription to use it is high but I need to use it right? Either make the device cheaper with the higher subscription fee or lower the subscription fee. Now why am I getting ads? What are you selling me? I can’t skip them either? I have the device. I have the subscription. Why are you forcing me to watch unskippable ads?

To really record a normal amount of meetings you need to have the 29/mo plan. But more frustrating is your meetings will not get auto labeled because there is no integration with outlook.

Why can I not move transcripts from my device to another device by wire? Why am I forced to pay another 230 a year to use the thing I purchased? I am going to try the free trial and then take this back. I could buy a transcription device that does not require a third party. We all have AI that can summarize a transcript in 2026. This is duplicative and quite frankly, a rip off. It sucks that we cannot buy things without being put into subscription hell these days.

After a year of using the PLAUD Note, I can say the device itself is good, but the subscription model ruins the experience. I bought the hardware and pay for a subscription, yet the included transcription minutes run out very quickly. After 12 months, I still have to constantly watch my remaining balance instead of just using the product I paid for. For someone who invested in both the device and a paid plan, the allowance feels too limited and seems designed to push you toward the Unlimited plan. Support was polite, but couldn't address the core issue, which is the subscription structure. I don't recommend it unless they fix the subscription.

The app works on the iPhone however I wanted to use is on my iPad to get a larger screen size while traveling. The app is only for the iPhone and is the same size screen as the phone on the iPad. I can use the web however when traveling I do not have internet access and want to work on notes with my keyboard vs trying to type on the iPhone.

The AI inside of this thing or whatever the hell is going on just fabricate things that never happened and then transcribes them like they did. Do not buy this.

Transcript management is clunky at best. It’s difficult extrapolating the data I need. My device no longer supports a charge either. Sending it back and will likely switch to Granola AI.

After being a subscriber for a few months, my Plaud device stopped recording properly. Support replaced it with a device that never functioned right. I could never get FindMy working on my new device. I cancelled my nearly $250 per year subscription and they keep charging my card even after cancelling o their website, and then contacting support. They just now tried to charge my card again for a fourth time. This company seems legit until you’ve used them for a whole. Seems scammy. Be aware. (Their AI has responded to this saying that they want me to write support which I have already been doing repeatedly every single time it tries to charge my card and they have not resolved it so as an update, this is still happening and it’s been many days since I posted this. They do not have people doing any real work, shopper be aware)

it's difficult to get usable material out of the app. For instance, I can't print a PDF, but more, PDFs need to be assembled from various parts like transcriptions and memory maps. They aren't one, nicely formatted PDF! There are visual UI bugs.. it's pretty rough. And even if I don't want to use the Plaud cloud services, I need an account to use the app.

Although I have found this device to take decent notes the spelling is questionable but understandable. However when you try to export the notes they do not come across as a summary and the mind map itself cannot be exported. If there’s a way to do this that I’m not understanding please let me know, but if it’s not easy or intuitive then people are going to have trouble with this

It took over a 12 emails to cancel this service. Avoid this service.

This device constantly is losing sync with my Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max. I spend more time syncing it back to my phone that I do actually using it. It’s a piece of junk.

Such a racket! You pay $100 per year and need customer service to cancel. HOWEVER, customer service is AI, no humans available. And even after you pay $100, you only have so many minutes you’re allowed to use. If you don’t continue to pay the yearly subscription, it deletes your records. Just go buy Dragon!

I list my data. Can’t find my account

This has turned into more trouble than it’s worth. If you can’t access the information on your desktop the tool is useless for many people. It should be seamless from your iPhone to your laptop. It’s not.

Used to be a wonderful user interface until they updated the user interface and basically bricked it making the whole entire process cumbersome and unusable through with more confusion, some time in June 2006 I updated the app and now my devices are basically bricked! What have you guys done to your beautiful user interface? Add an option as to switch back to Classic , please!

The devices are great. However, the app leaves much to be desired. There is no way to increase the default font size, nor is there a bold option. There is no dark mode. There is no way to get the list or task templates to work without using Ask PLAUD. Auto summaries work great, but doing something as simple as auto generating a list within a transcript is impossible! This app needs a lot of work and you developers are doing nothing!

Poor instructions for transferring notes to desktop.

They make it impossible to cancel. Make sure you use a temp card. Because it’s been so hard to stop trying to charge me. Luckily I canceled my card or another 280 would get charged
