If you don’t pay for the app they will not let you message anyone or receive any message from other travelers, they just want your money pretty much

Post Purchase of subscriptions they ban you for nothing. Without information on why account is suspended or banned.

They're progressively starting to charge for everything. Now you can't even message people in advance to make plans without a fee. They've also done nothing to stop the predatory behavior female users have to deal with

This app is a joke. Very suspicious people on it

hey I highly recommend to not get the app, I’ve vote catfished many times while other apps have a face verification this one lets anyone join and it’s dangerous

I was looking forward to making new friends in Europe. I downloaded this app to create new connections as I recently came across. I found my account was suspended for no reason it said it would process for 24 hours to decide if my account should maintain suspended it’s been three days since that happened.. I emailed their support team with no answer as if I have been ghosted really disappointed

I met one of my ultimate best friends on this app (purely by chance, not because the app was particularly great). many of the features are exclusive to paying members, and while this is not necessarily terrible as many apps must do this, it does make it much less usable. I don’t want the majority of notifications/friend requests I receive from this app to be from older men. this alone drives down my engagement on this app by 85%, and I’m sure the majority of women on this app feel the same way. The two women I did manage to meet from this app agreed to this themselves. The least this app can do is allow everyone to filter based on age and gender. even these are paid features! And the age range choices are quite large.

This app seems to be a scam. I subscribed and never even used the app but keep getting message that my account is banned. How can my account be banned without me using the app? How’s that possible!!? Something is seriously wrong… and they have taken my money 🥲

The app was working great, but then I was randomly banned with no warning or reason. I’ve submitted a email with no reply. I have a trip coming up soon and would’ve liked to use the app.

Pay to use basic functionality. Yeah, no thanks. Update to response: The first page of the app is a map of other users around you. Almost all of the profiles were blurred and behind a paywall. How is that not a “main feature”?

Let me know when I can sign up using an email address instead of having to link my AppleID

I got this app in the beginning when I could join groups out of the country for free and plan trips with people but now everything is behind a paywall. I can’t even join groups in the country I plan to visit without paying. Also I don’t want creepy older men to be able to contact me but I have to pay to filter preferences in my settings. Not worth it.

Literally just trying to meet new people and it’s acting like a dating app, pay to see who views your page, pay to see whose around you, pay to see what activities are going on around you, pay to use the map and browse your area. Waste of a time with no functionality

Customer support doesn’t respond and no refund when having no access to app.

My account was cancel for no reason, when I contact customer service by email to get some answers nobody response, worst travel app, I’ve email twice and no response worst app

I downloaded the app and I wasn’t able to go to the next page so I allowed the three day free trial but I was charged right away!!! I’ve been contacting support from the app with NO ONE getting back to me!! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

I downloaded this app for a trip that i went on to meet people, and while i didn’t really end up using it, i kept the app downloaded making sure my location services were OFF. Today, out of nowhere, some random man messaged me asking if i was in my own city. I double checked and my location services were still off and there was no information on my profile to indicate where i am from. HOW DID HE KNOW? I immediately deleted my account and this app, and I feel really creeped out.

As a completely respectful person, and they still banned me. And also, it’s a very white-people centric app, which is whatever. Anyone can report you just because they don’t vibe with you, and their review system is probably pretty bad given they outright ban you based on someone reporting you instead of actually checking if the report is valid or not. Been nothing but respectful and friendly with people, and I somehow “violated community guidelines”. Unless it’s about posting links (which I paid premium to be able to do LOL) - and it was just me posting Instagram chat links for quick connect on day of travel etc. whatever, a dying app anyways, it’s gotten progressively worse. Other apps are being more innovative now.

Too expensive, limited features

I’m a bit confused. Maybe I’m not using the app right. This is my first week on. I’ve gotten 2 messages saying “Somebody wants to hang out”. But, when I go to the app. There’s no indication of that.

The app doesn’t show ppl close by, i downloaded it with my partner, we moving together and don’t show us, and do send messages on time

Despite taking multiple visible selfies and also reaching out to support (nobody responded) I could not get my profile verified. I had a mixed experience with groups, people just lurk on your profile instead of responding directly in group chat, I guess fear of interaction with strangers is to blame!? But in some groups you promoters more than real travelers trying to connect. TripBFF team needs to improve this. They’re charging premium fees just to show who viewed your profile, not really value add. I will be canceling my subscription.
