Lively - Period Tracker, Cycle

After years of using this app, suddenly I come to find my tracking all this time is behind a paywall. You can’t even access the app anymore without paying! I feel BETRAYED! A girls girl would never do this, they must’ve been bought out by a man. Hate to see it. Guess I’m flying blind this cycle!

Awful just awful disgusting yuck useless

The widget just keeps counting days. When I open the app it accurately says I’m on day 4 since I just logged a period, but the widget says 32. The whole reason I’m using an app at all is so I can quickly glance at the widget and know what day I’m on! 😭Deleting and re-adding didn’t help.

I should say the app itself is good and informative. Where I am annoyed is if you are not a subscription member, they relentlessly ask you to pay. Two different times, I’ve been offered a “free trial” only to be IMMEDIATELY billed. Because this is the second time it’s happened, Apple will not refund me even though I reported it immediately.

If this app is supposed to HELP women then why make us pay to track our periods and get better information about our health

My girlfriend asked me to get this app and everything works fine once I put the code in but the widget doesn’t update to show the proper day in the cycle.

Are we serious? Not only do women already have to pay for toiletries for our periods and deal with everything else that comes with a period, but what I really thought was a genuinely helpful looking app that would seem to be really great with advising what our mood may be, what we should eat, and how we should move our body, COSTS MONEY? Sure it’s only 30 dollars a year but that’s another 30 on top of everything else. I think it’s so unfair and unnecessary that we should have to pay for this too. People have really lost the plot.

i honestly really liked this app for awhile but then my period became super irregular and now the app won’t even track my periods. it picks what days i’m supposed to start my cycle or what day it thinks my cycle will start and then won’t let me change to the days my cycle actually happened. honestly kind of ridiculous and now i have to switch to a different app.

This app has had a bug for like six months where there are no notification settings. This makes the app kind of useless for me and my partner.

you have to pay to use the app. i thought it would’ve been free. im sad because this really looks helpful. i couldn’t even get pass the home page without an ad being thrown im my face.

Okay so I am a minor and don’t have access to funds (I’m broke) so I use the free versions of apps. However this app only gives me the option for a 7 day free trial. Usually apps give you a free version that just isn’t as good as the normal one but this one I can’t even open without paying.

I don’t download this app they will charge your card even when you subscription is cancelled

This app is not what the advertisement showed. The free trial does not work so be aware. Apple will not allow a refund either. Delete deleted the app the same day I just started the free trial. Ridiculous.

Overall enjoying the app, paid premium and really like that my partner can track the daily updates. I tried to report a couple issues to the support team and received no response. Bug defects: 1. I’m on the pregnancy path and it still tracks a period cycle. 2. When I attempt to log a symptom it doesn’t take me to today’s date, August 31, it defaults to July 7th and I have to scroll almost 2 months to get to today. 3. Unable to save any symptoms logged for today. All these app issues started last night.

Very misleading, they just want downloads. Don’t download it unless you want to pay

I’ve already payed for the app. The removal of most features unless you pay for premium is so disappointing. I really like the design in how subtle it is, but I feel like I’m paying for aesthetics. It’s very generic information that you get in its features. It’s really nothing tailored to you personally, so I’m confused as to why there’s a sudden premium membership.

I just had twins in January and my periods have been super erratic and very long- like 50 days 🤣. This app will only record your cycle for 14 days at a time, so if you’re super irregular or have longer periods, this may not be the app for you

It’s actually not free. It’s only free to download, then after a seven day free trial you have to pay 🙄

Unfortunately it costs money, like many similar apps. It is honestly quite shocking to me why period trackers and apps cost money when I cannot pay for an app to track my cycle, while having to pay for so many things already with having a period I did not ask for. Pads. Heating pads. Swimwear. Medicines. Chocolate.. yk? So I would honestly be so happy to find a FREE app like this.

I’ve been using this app well over a year and I love it and the insights especially. It would show you hormone levels and common symptoms you track around certain times in your cycle. As of this week those insights I loved so much are now apart of premium. I hoped this female run app would understand that some women can benefit from these apps without collecting money we don’t have. I will likely use a new app now if my favorite features are no longer available to all. Extremely disappointing because this app was beautiful built for all.

I go into the app all my period information is gone like I’ve never used it and I paid for a year subscription. I canceled and some how it shows that I’ve never had one on there app when asking for my money back however on my side on the app/gaming app I payed the 18.99 subscription fee for a year

The thing that I’m most concerned about is that we have to pay for our health shouldn’t we be able? To do this for free

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. That women have to pay money just to track their health….. Immediately after downloading the app and putting my information in it, forced me to start a free trial and didn’t even give me an option to just have the app for free… I can track my period on my calendar. I’m not paying to do it on my phone… extremely disappointed

If this app is woman-owned, then you should understand that women already spend money every month on pads, tampons, menstrual cups, or other period products. Charging a subscription just to track a natural bodily function feels like another way to profit from menstruation. Supporting women's health shouldn't depend on another monthly subscription.
