SailFlow: Sailing Forecasts

Used to enjoy this app very easy to use, but unfortunately this year they hid everything behind a paywall so all the stations you were getting for free now you have to pay for. I will be deleting and finding weather elsewhere.

Been using sail flow for more than 15 years. Today I can no longer access any of the stations I always have without upgrading. Useless. Uninstalling. Way to go sail flow and put the screws to your most loyal users.

I have been a Plus user of SailFlow for several years and have grown to rely on its information, however, when it automatically renewed last week I could not access any of my favorites for Hampton Roads as it said I needed to Upgrade to access them. SailFlow, you have just lost a user. I will be cancelling my subscription and moving to Windy.

Current version of the app crashes whenever I go into the menu to change settings or preferences.

Someone updated it ? Fed it up, it worked perfectly for years why now?

The graphics are terrible and hard to see

I purchased the $49.00 a year and it turns out where I sail mission Bay in San Diego you need a Pro subscription? Anyways a total waste of money.

Diametrically apposed forcasts , almost 180 degrees incorrect in San Diego at times

Typically the windspeed has been 10-15 kts higher than the SailFlow forecasts since at least early 2024, for Lake Michigan near Chicago e.g. the Harrison-Deaver GLERL buoy. One might think that the forecasts would be corrected after proving worng, but not so: The low forecast vs. high actual windspeed often persists for days on end. I have set a reminder to cancel my subscription before it renews again.

For $22/mo this app should work better. I recommend staying away from this app.

When clicking the SailFlow icon on iOS the app often attempts to load and then cuts out returning the user to the icon. Not sure why this occurs but it is very annoying
