All of a sudden Google/Muse etc has taken control of this app and I can’t close it. I have to turn my phone completely off and then restart it. It’s happening to 2 other members of my family. Terrible!!!

I signed up for a membership years ago and now it disappeared. I’m getting promoted once a day to sign up for elite membership. Also, the adds are getting to be way too much for me to use it now.

After 12 years i will trash it; too many ads greedy people

I’ve used this app for more than a decade. In the last 2 months or so a video advertisement pops up and there is no way to close it, thus rendering the app useless. You need to return a couple of hours later in order for the advertisement to disappear. Then you may get to use the app for a while till another advertisement pops up. It is ok to have advertisements, but there needs to be a way to close the advertisement after it runs its course. As I initially said the app is great but recently it has become useless.

Long time user, leaving ads are annoying and long

This was one of the best stocks apps out there. So happy for their success, but the ads just got turned up and it’s too annoying now. Real bummer, was so good.

Can’t open it without getting redirected to adds. Apple sucks

I’ve been using this app for tracking multiple portfolios for many years. It has some limitations & crashes occasionally, but overall, it has been good. All of a sudden, in the last few days, the app has been running ads that begin with the sound on! If you don’t stop this, I and thousands of oher users will delete your app & move to one of the dozens of excellent alternatives.

I got this app to try some paper trading scenarios. I got the elite (paid) version. My portfolios aren’t logging all of the transactions I input, and there’s no way to contact them for support. Note that the paid membership benefits list support as a feature. The “contact us” button does not work. Next to it, however, was the “rate us” button, which did work, so here I am.

Long term user. I understand upselling but these ads are auto playing and stopping my music / audiobooks. Took a screen recording - had Grok capture my stock lists - and then had it tell me how to create a Shortcut to auto import to a new app. I’ll just use something else + Finviz. Peace 🫡

I’ve used this app for years. Recently, ads have taken over the portfolio screen. And, you have to close the app and reopen it to view your portfolio because one cannot close the ad on the opening portfolio screed. A real bug. Too bad, but I’m removing the app from my phone. I used to find it useful.

The ads are very annoying and disruptive, charts not as good

The occasional ad was fine, but now that they’ve become reels and ads placed throughout my list of tracked stocks, I’m done

The ads have gotten very aggressive and bad. Now there is a new one that takes up over half the screen and can’t be closed. This ap used to be good but now it’s a POC

It just keeps getting worse. I’m done. Looking for something else.

It used to be a simple no ads experience. Now completely riddled with ads. Avoid!!

Used to love this app but now I am unable to x out of the pop up ads once they are done rambling. It then locks up my phone and I have to turn my phone off and back on again to proceed. No time for this.

The app is good but too many ads and occasionally will freeze or not load any content. Freezes often too

I’ve been using this app for over a decade since the ui is streamlined and simple to view. Now it’s riddled with ads and you don’t get any new useful features. You see 5 ads just scrolling your watch list. I don’t mind them trying to earn a living but this is too much. You’re better off using your broker’s app.

I have been using this app forever and every year there are more and more ads thrown in. Everyone is doing it. I’m going to have to find something else I guess.

The current version has added ads throughout my list of stocks which means I have to scroll through the list now. Yeah, make it more difficult for us uses all in the sake of making more money through ads.

Long time user. All was tolerable (though not a fan of having to touch multiple buttons to end an ad) until they decided today to display loud screaming ads where you can’t turn down or shut off the sound. Not what you want to be subjected to first thing in the morning. And no more discreetly opening the app at work. Definitely deleting and using a different stock app. Big thumbs.

Lots of spam ads and ads that look like viruses, if you can use a different app, use it. This one works ok but the virus and spam ads are ridiculous

I’ve asked them for years to Show negative numbers, whole and percentages, as negative numbers, i.e. with a negative symbol - or in red. Never a response to my request. How simple it is to do that by a digital company in the digital age. All the others do it. Why not them. Baffling. Very disappointed.
