Lost all my photos by using this as backup.

App will crash and close out before it can be opened, very annoying and inconvenient

I’ve had this app for 4-5 years. Recently opened it and it runs for a couple minutes then crashes. I’m a paying user of the app. No idea why it’s doing this.

I have lost a lot of pictures by getting new phones and can’t recover them. Not happy!

The app is horrible, one day you have picture and next the videos are deleted. For years I had photos on my app. The next day they deleted. No one was able to get my photos back. Claiming there were not backed up when for years I’ve been able to see the photos and one random day everything was deleted. Pick a different app.

I pay for it to still not upload my picture or videos??!??? An update every week and it does nothing. Fix why my photos don’t upload.

I already paid for lifetime usage and they are charging me again. I am downloading my files and leaving.

Keepsafe decided to update itself and now everything is a mess. The whole UI changed, there’s things not in the order I left them in and I just lost thousands of photos/ videos. I have the premium membership and had 10,000+ items backed up. But I had more than 30,000 items total. So more than 20,000 potentially lost over an update I didnt even ask for. Half of the items that are there are blacked out and say they cant be loaded. What is going on here?? Update: I deleted a lot of pics/videos (that Keepsafe refuses to load, so I cant view them anymore anyway) but now suddenly all that space I freed up is now “taken up” although everything I deleted is still gone (not in the trash either). Not only that, it’s somehow taking up MORE space after I deleted thousands of items that would no longer load. Make it make sense!! This app has gone all the way downhill since Dec 2025 update. Do not use this app

I used this long ago and it worked great. Now when I have my email for it, the app won't recognize I'm adding photos or that account.

Stop uploading my photos, even though it was consistently saying they were uploaded, and it was safe to see

Am missing a lot of pictures and videos I didn’t even delete them i changed phone and on my new phone they don’t appear no more

Sad to say lost over 2,000 photos and videos. It underwent many updates over the years and before I unsubscribed it said I had 1,400 photos backed up but when I would try to import them to my physical phone storage it said downloading photos from your vault and would never finish downloading hence I couldnt move them from keepsafe, some forums said to uninstall the app as long as it says photos were on your cloud it was fine.. uninstalled and came back to NOTHING, An empty lot were my photos use to be. app might work if you only have a few photos but if you HAVE PREMIUM with 15k cloud storage and do store this many photos you are BOUND to lose some if not all. This is why I unsubscribed, stick to iphone icloud, or google storage for android, better off.

Everytime I open any photo or video the app crashes. It's pretty much unusable.

I’ve been using Keepsafe and paying for it for 4 years. The first time I actually needed to restore my photos, I discovered that all of my pictures were gone. Years’ worth of precious memories are now lost. I will never use this app again, and I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone.

The app really needs to be improved in the way Juan can file and transfer photos from one file to another. And I need to have the ability to be able to export with these many photos outside of KeepSafe

DO NOT PUT YOUR PRIVATE PHOTOS ON THIS APP THEY WILL STEAL IT AND SHARE IT TO UNAUTHORIZED USERS AND FORCE YOU TO ACCEPT TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT ALLOW FOR THEM TO VIOLATE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS. I had photos of myself as a kid on this app time to take it off and download to my phone and both I phone is refusing to download my photos, the app keeps forcing me to accept new terms and conditions that gives them possession over my property just for using their “privacy vault” it’s suppose to be private property not keep safe property they are just a tool for holding NOT the owners. By the time you’ve accepted all the bs terms and conditions they probably have copied your private photos and is selling it to the highest bidder the way they force these updates new terms and policies in you expecting you to accept bulks of pages of legal documents in a matter of seconds is predatory and the fact that you can’t extract your photos any other way except the app gives apple more leverage over your private data. It’s a data war and these predatory companies are trying their best especially with their policies to take ownership of your property. Be very careful and DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR PRIVATE PHOTOS.

My documents were irreplaceable and now lost because I didn’t want to pay up the $30 they extorted me for. Don’t use this app if you plan to keep your files. Would have given zero stars.

Deleted everything

The app keeps crashing. Also keep showing it’s updating when login and not able to access my files.

I have been using the app for a few years now. And now my items don’t backup it just keep saying backup is in progress

App always crashes and needs to be re-started. If you're looking for a stable place to store valued content, I wouldn't choose this one.
