Video Star

I’ve been a videostar editor for about 3 years. I replicate “twixtor” on videostar by speeding up my clip on faster mixtor in velocity, and then slowing it down on better mixtor. This makes your clips look smooth and similar to that of AE users when they twixtor their clips. However, I had to stop editing for about two months for school and when I re subscribed recently, I noticed that we can no longer do this twixtor like thing on videostar. When I do these steps I mentioned earlier, the clip sort of glitches in a choppy manner and plays in intervals. It’s upsetting because on my TikTok editing account, my followers know me as someone who has unusually smooth videostar edits. But now, I can’t do my twixtor anymore, or at least I can’t on this device? Please tell me if there is a fix

This app is money hungry !! Almost everything is pro. You can barely make an edit on it for free. I also heard they got rid of the packs, and I am not paying every month no matter how cheap it is. Tracking blur & velocity being pro is ridiculous!! I understand having some pro stuff in your app, but almost everything in it being pro is ridiculous. I would love to edit on it, but way too things are pro. Please at least make tracking blur and velocity free.

Please bring back the option to buy individual power packs, it’s completely unfair to those who can’t spend the money to buy a subscription and can only afford specific effects. I’ve only just started getting back to editing and this was never an issue, I’ve bought packs before without having to pay a consistent subscription. Please listen to your users and make the app more enjoyable for everyone.

Please bring back power packs, this was stupid to remove in the first place when we’re in a financial crisis right now.

Hey so it’s not letting me buy the pro every time I click it nothing pops up I would like to buy pro but I think it’s a little bug issue going on is there a way to fix this problem?

I’ve been using VS since the end of 2019 and it’s changed my life as an editor. It’s super easy to learn and the community has gotten so creative over the years. But I am now discovering that the power packs are no longer available. It’s heartbreaking because I am now coming back to editing and it’s been nice coming back to VS. I understand that the subscription gives access to EVERYTHING and it’s pretty cheap but there are people that don’t use EVERYTHING and I’m one of them. I’d rather have to buy a pack just for 1 effect then buy a sub for everything that I won’t even use. It was better that way and honestly this is the worst mistake VS could ever do. I hope you take all our complaints into consideration and bring them back or at least make a better alternative. I hate to leave a 1 star because this is honestly the best video editing app. Thank you for everything yall do and just bring back packs and we’ll never talk about this again 🙏

Please bring back power packs, they were the biggest reason I preferred this video editing app to others. They were so much more covenient in the long run than buying subscriptions for effects most users will never end up using!!! If you love your userbase and customers, please bring back power packs!!!

You guys are becoming Elon Musketeers with your financial greed

I’ve been using this app for YEARS—around 13 years. I’ve bought a few effects that I used and made edits with. I LOVED this app. However, a recent update and I’m no longer able to access these effects because “family sharing does not apply to in app purchases.” The thing is, I was able to access these for the two/three years, so I don’t really believe this has always been a rule. It’s really disappointing, because this has been my favorite app and video making app for forever, and now I can’t edit or do the things I used to that made it so fun. Instead of being able to use the few effects I bought, now I have to pay for a subscription to access every effect. I considered doing this, but it’s such a waste of money because I really only use a few. I understand the app is special and I am happy to repay for the effects I can no longer access. But I just can’t pay monthly/yearly to access every effect, this new update is extremely unfair to users, especially longtime ones such as myself.

I love this app. I’ve been editing since 2018 and I’ve had a fair share of edits on this app. I tried to see how much it would cost for a single pack of some coloring. Why are all powerpacks deleted? Do you seriously expect us to spend monthly on all packs when most of us use less than half of them? I’ve never complained about vs because I really do love this app but this is ridiculous. Don’t expect us to spend 5.99 monthly on pro when the whole reason we used this app was because of the powerpacks we can buy without spending so much money.

its money hungry.

pay to use in almost every feature, also very confused rn

Please bring back the packs!!!!

It doesn’t let me put text over my edits. Doesn’t let me use key frames. Doesn’t do anything for that matter. It won’t even let me use tutorials like what? Can someone help me please. This literally makes ZERO SENSE 😔💔

This app has the worse layout OF ALL TIME! I can barley work the app without having 110 pop ups! Unacceptable!!! Also, why is half of the things pro?! Like how am i supposed to edit without paying?! Please fix your app. It is HIGHLY confusing for a beginner editor. I can’t even find an animation button or an effects button. Why is it so hard to put an audio AND import a clip into the app. It took me 30 minutes to put the clip in before i could actually start editing.

I wasted my money on this app and it’s not doing nothing but lagging I would like a refund

This is pay to use I can’t even zoom in for free

Bring back power packs and I’ll consider a 5star review

been using this since 2018 and the fact that yall took away power packs rlly hurt me. We get that yall need to make money but taking away the packs was a low blow.

Seriously??? I don’t get why they removed powerpacks I am not buying vspro for one effect 😹😹😹 money hungry company.
