This app was my go-to Professional messaging app but increasingly private chats have problems losing messages, messages not able to be listened to, and locking up chats so no scrolling through important messages with newer iOS updates and any updates or changing devices to get messages. So sad and disappointing even when paying top price for Premium plus. Even non-private chats not working now, PLEASE UPDATE

I have been having trouble with this app for the past week and a half. It wants to open the application, then it wants to glitch me to the home screen. I’ve tried updating boxer and it will not update, nor will pop up on my App Store that it needs an update. Apparently there is an update required a week prior to this message. I would like to get this stuff taken care of ASAP because I need it for my job

I’ve been enjoying the app but has stopped working with my AirPods after iOS 27 update.

Why did you move the button to the right-hand side when the vast majority of people are right-handed? It makes it super awkward to hit the button now. And also, nobody's using this app to send text messages. We have a million other apps to do that with. Then you don't even give us the option to move it back to the middle. What are you people thinking? Stop trying to be everything to everyone.

The keyboard covers the text box. Try to send Support a message it is never sent. Ugh.

When it works, it’s great. When it doesn’t work, you don’t get messages, things don’t download, and there’s no way to correct the issue to hear the message.

As a Voxer Pro user of over 10 years, I can say this latest update is easily the worst and most detrimental update to this app I have ever seen. The message playback button appears constantly over the message. The app itself is really laggy. And unresponsive. The options to relocate the button are completely useless as the button is just simply stuck on the right corner of the page and while listening to messages, the app is constantly forced closing, and I have to start my message all over again.

Love this app and all it can do, have used for a decade, but it has become nearly unusable. The bugs! Messages don’t download, you go to open a specific chat and it opens a random one. I lose about 65% of messages now. And no android auto or CarPlay app? Come on.

Have been using this app for about 7 years and I’m surprised the same glitches remain a problem year after year. Messages say sent on the senders end and don’t show on the receivers side. This is super problematic when someone is leaving an hours worth of messages. Sometimes I’ll click on a profile to send a message, and it opens up someone else in my lists chat. If sending information you don’t want shared between different people, this can be pretty significant. Sometimes message shows recording but then when you stop, it disappears. I’d love to switch from this app to something more reliable, but I’ve been using it for so long it’s not ideal to just switch.

I use this app for my business to communicate with employees when a call isn’t needed. It used to be great but it has become a glitchy mess. Messages only partially upload and notifications can come hours or days later. Not reliable enough to use any longer.

Why can’t I hear anything even on speaker mode now? It’s SO quiet. I’ll never understand why developers will go from having a perfectly functional app to then breaking it with updates.

This app has a lot of potential, but there are too many flaws in my opinion to make this a practical application for communication, especially that which is time sensitive. I have a new iPhone 16 and recently downloaded the Voxer app and paid the monthly subscription only to have it fail horribly right out of the gate. I would connect it to my Bluetooth, but the audio would play through the speaker on my phone, even though the Bluetooth was connected. If I was to replay a message, it would play through my Bluetooth earbuds, but anything live would play through my speaker, and there are no settings to change this. Several people in my team who have iPhones were experiencing the same issue. I do not recommend this app until they get these bugs fixed.

I need to cancel this subscription, but it’s not showing up in my Apple Subscription list, because Voxer is processing subscription payments on Stripe. I sent a support ticket and they’re telling me to search my Apple subscription list, knowing it won’t show up there because they’re not processing the subscription through Apple.

Poor quality app and friends

Extremely confusing to use an app when trying to set up and use for business. Not intuitive. Packages are confusing and overpriced.

I use this to chat with a friend overseas. Daily. Pretty much throughout the day, so you’d probably class me as a heavy user. When it works, it is the best chat app I’ve ever found. But unfortunately, it only works when it wants to, delivery is fairly random, alerts are a joke, and it’s only gotten worse through the last few updates. Since the iOS 26 update, I haven’t even gotten a single audio alert. And yes, I’ve checked all the settings manually. It becomes increasingly frustrating to the point of useless, and then the next day it will redeem itself. But the following day, here comes the troubles again. Ridiculously, it’s STILL the best and most reliable chat app I’ve found. The others remain somehow worse. Your job is to record a voice clip, transmit it to the other end, and alert the other person that it arrived. Why is this so difficult?

it’s a great app but the fact that it sticks a notification on at all times and it NEVER GOES AWAY drives me insane! i was using this app last november-february and it still hasn’t been fixed?! what’s going on?!

it crashes and glitches too much

We’ve had this app for years most of us Pro there’s probably 40 people. It’s not a bad app except there is zero support.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience using Voxer. As the owner of a SaaS company, I hold tech platforms to a high standard—especially when it comes to customer support and data management. Unfortunately, Voxer completely missed the mark. Without any confirmation or request on my end, my Pro account was deleted. I never authorized this action, and there was zero communication or verification from the support team. Because of this, I’ve lost years of important client conversations and data that were stored inside the platform. This kind of careless account handling is unacceptable, especially for paying subscribers. I’ve requested a refund and will not be using this platform again. I’m also advising all of my clients and peers to move to more reliable alternatives like WhatsApp. This was an incredibly unprofessional and disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend Voxer to anyone based on what I’ve gone through.

Notifications never come through. It is super frustrating. A paid account didn’t make a difference, and no matter the device, this failure of notifications is consistent.

This app is soooo buggy! The purpose of this app is suppose to be straight forward! It’s so bad that it’s motivating me to get into app creation and develop a FREE version of this!
