WeatherBug: Weather Forecast

Have to save a city to view a city. Then it won’t delete cities even if you have multiples. Solution to delete city is to delete the app.

This used to be my go-to app until they updated the entire look of it. I used to love it because it was easy to navigate. Now everything blends together. Back to the built in weather app I go

I had noticed more and more ads recently and I can let that go. But you’ve kept removing features that once put WeatherBug in a class above the majority. The recent change to remove 10-day forecasts (despite the menu saying it’s 10 days) to just a week was the last straw. See ya later.

Used to love this app! But then it stopped alerting me. I deleted and redownloaded and still doesn’t work.

I’ve previewed the beta layout for the app. The map that used to be front and center on the home page is now hidden behind a “maps” tap. I’ll probably cancel my subscription in favor of the built in weather app.

Why is the app showing 5 days and not 10 days weather forecast section? Not good people maybe you need to update this AI thing.

Christ. Give me the weather not a thousand ads. Way to sell out. Losers.

Deleted when my 10 days forecast only showed 5 days and the rest was just ads.

Why is there only 5 days instead of 10 on the 10 day forecast?

Now the 10-day forecast shows 5 days. Way to screw up a good app.

Apparently WeatherBug has chosen to not allow us to see a 10 day forecast. It only allows us to see a 5 day forecast. Terrible!

Used to be great. Accurate. Now opened up and ads are terrible. 10 day forecast gone, it’s 5 day forecast with pages of ads. Goodbye

“10 Day” forecast tab shows six days. It shows October 3 - October 8 right now. Not that I pay much attention to anything more than three days out, but why is it only showing six days now? Please bring back the old lightning map.

I’m in SE Asia and for years relied on WeatherBug’s lightening map. The design was straightforward and easy to read with a dark background. The small red dots showing immediate strikes were consistently accurate. Now? More useless, feature-bloated UX/UI updates. The redesign of the lightening map is garish and amateurish and the red lines bordering around islands and countries are distracting and seemingly useless, and the 10/30/45 radar blocks out map details. Don’t get me started on the tri-color lightening strike animation.

I’ve used this app for years. It’s been reliable and the only weather app I would use. Now I can’t even see a 10 day forecast. There are so many ads. I’m giving it a chance to be fixed but I’ll be looking for another app. The ads are awful 😞

Update: several weeks later and the lightning map STILL does not work. I can’t access it on multiple devices. It gives a “could not load” message. What’s the point of having the app if the ONLY reason I use it doesn’t work? Please message back with someway to fix this issue. ———————— The lightning map has been unusable for several days now. When I click the icon on the Widget forecast it takes me to what looks like a different formatted map with the “Map failed to load. Could not load map” message. It’s like this on multiple devices. I’m going to be honest – the lightning map is the only reason I use this app. I use to see which direction the storm is going or coming. Without it, it’s unfortunately useless.

They give you no details, it’s what a 4th grader would make.

App looks “pretty” but doesn’t actually provide weather in the desired area. Totally useless

I had used WeatherBug for years & loved it. Recently it’s had repeated annoying glitches. Can’t load preferences, can’t delete one of multiple locations, etc, etc. Uninstalled & reinstalled too many times trying to correct. I’m not wasting my time with it anymore. iPhone 17 Pro. Adios y’all!

First they remove the Weather Elite app. Then they remove the Watch app, which was already antiquated. They have never extended the future radar beyond 1 hr. There are many other apps that are way better.

Cancelled my subscription that should have lasted till next year. Ads returned the very next day. Tired of subscriptions. Tired of ads everywhere. Found another app with no ads.

I used to get all of the notifications, and one day they stopped. All of my settings are set correctly and, nothing. Reinstalled the app, now when I go to settings, it tells me it fails to load. Going to the Weather channel and MyRadar apps now.

So I had the $50 version of this app. Sad to learn it has been taken off the App Store and will no longer be getting updates. I downloaded the free version and now have to pay a subscription. Hate these greedy companies. They take your $50 only to take the app away and make you pay more with a subscription.

The new changes to the lightning radar are very disappointing. Why change what worked?
