Loveee how deleting and editing a couple cards makes it so I can’t use the entire deck. Really convenient this happened the night before my exam. Thanks gizmo for sending me right back to Quizlet. It might have ads but at least it’s never crashed as frequently as you guys 👍👍

never works when i need it. only days before i need something

The quizzes and flashcards it gives are extremely surface level, if your exams are more in depth Gizmo probably shouldn’t be your first choice. The fact it is almost impossible to use it without paying for premium is insane. I never wrote reviews for apps that I purchase but I genuinely cannot hold back on this one. The fact that if you want unlimited, it is 7$ a week. That is 28$ a MONTH for an AI website/app. How money hungry do you have to be to do charge that much, not even a streaming service or spotify is that much a month. Genuine insanity

When I upload my photographed notes nothing appears

Whatever this new update is please reverse it. It’s completely trash and ruin the app. It barely works and doesn’t even load quizzes anymore.

This tells me to update the app then doesn’t let me update it. Then after that it tells me I can’t do a game until I update it. Do not download this.

App currently not working anytime I try loading a new deck to study and it keeps logging me out…pretty disappointing considering I paid for the yearly subscription

Was having some issues deleted and downloaded again. now ive been trying for a hour to log back in and cant! I have a exam monday im soooo annoyed!

App / website keeps crashing and not loading

I’ve been stuck on the loading screen for over 20 minutes and still can’t access the app. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling it multiple times, but the same issue keeps happening. The app is extremely buggy and frustrating to use. Unfortunately, based on my experience so far, I wouldn’t recommend this app.

App doesn’t work

Was working fine till today. Nothing is loading. I can’t study the decks I created this problem is present in the Gizmo app and website. Decks and lessons I’ve made progress in won’t load I get the “Sorry something went wrong” screen. Active recall quizzes, AI Tutor, nothing loads. I’ve checked my WiFi it’s not the issue. Is there a server outage?

This is the first time I really like an app where you can study that explains what I’ve learned in class. Though with the recent update the ai tutor hasn’t been working well. Not only that the app entirely fails to download whenever I try to use one of my files to study. Even when I try to log off or delete the app, the whole information has been deleted for some reason even though I didn’t do it. Now I have an exam in a week and I don’t know which app to use in order to study.

I loved this app at first it was super helpful to how I learn and study, however it stopped working on both my phone and laptop out of nowhere and stopped loading everything

this app has been helping so much! wish i didn’t have to rely on hearts to keep going…would rather just get an explanation so i don’t run out of “lives” and have to wait to study more. when i ask for an explanation it doesn’t load most of the time. very laggy and glitchy app overall

Decent app but they make it very hard to cancel subscription

I enjoy using the app, but I’m extremely frustrated because I’ve been trying to cancel my subscription and haven’t been able to. I’ve contacted support and haven’t received the help I need. I also can’t find any option within my account to manage or cancel my subscription myself, which has made this experience even more frustrating. I’m continuing to be charged $6.99, and I simply want my subscription canceled. I would really appreciate it if someone from the Gizmo team could reach out and help resolve this issue as soon as possible.

The AI makes quite a few mistakes when generating cards and explanations. I also can’t delete decks easily, which is really annoying. The biggest issue for me is importing from YouTube. The generated questions are often very strange — for example, asking about “the position of the interviewer” or including random jokes from podcasts. I end up having to delete almost half the questions every time, which wastes a lot of time. Another major limitation is that you can only summarize up to 10 pages at once. That’s too low for longer lectures, books, or detailed videos. AI accuracy must me improved. Increase the page/import limit significantly (at least 30–50 pages).

Why did y’all change it

If you gonna roast us coz someone did better than us, at least let us respond. This app wouldn’t even let multiple files be uploaded at once.

this app is good until you run out of hearts. it only lets you study for a couple minutes then it makes you wait 10 minutes just to get your hearts back. if you do not buy the unlimited version you cannot study for as long as you need

This app was working then out of no where keeps asking for me to create a profile constantly not letting me go to my own decks only public decks that are useless to me. I have all my lectures on there and it’s all gone. I have an exam soon and I can’t even study, I tried on my computer, iPad and phone it doesn’t work. This app is horrible.

This company because greedy like Quizlet :( I used to love them, not anymore

Keeps telling me to sign in over and over and over again and doesn’t even let me study.

I paid for the unlimited version, I really like this app but it’s fraudulent, I pay money and it can’t even make me a deck??? Extremely frustrating to pay money for something and not get what you paid for. 1 star from me!
