Printer App: Smart Print

I canceled this subscription days before the renewal date, and my App Store settings show it is inactive. I was charged in error after a successful cancellation. Please reverse the charge.

Said it was 3 day free trial charged me immediately not after trial. It tested for comparability and confirmed it detected printer. When I actually go to print it says can’t find printer . 9 dollars for nothing ty for taking my money and giving me no service

Still cannot print for years from my iPhone.

You cannot print anything unless you subscribe. Companies need to be upfront about this before people waste their time downloading the app. The app may be free to download, but the actual features are locked behind a paid subscription. There should be regulations requiring developers to clearly disclose when an app requires payment to perform its primary function. I’m tired of downloading “free” apps only to discover they’re essentially unusable without a subscription. I absolutely refuse to support companies that use misleading marketing tactics. If printing requires payment, say so clearly in the app description. Save people the time, frustration, and disappointment.

I literally downloaded this and it prompted me to sign up for a subscription service, which I did not want to do. Not only did I not want to sign up for a subscription service this app shouldn’t be a subscription service to begin with. It’s ridiculous. They’re just trying to milk you for all you have instead of just selling their product. I literally had my finger resting on the fingerprint scanner on my iPad cause that’s how I hold it and it signed me up. Then I went to Settings to try to figure out how to un-sign up and cancel it and they shuttled me to a page where I couldn’t see the the subscription… I then went to Apple Pay and couldn’t see the subscription. I literally had to go into my Apple Pay confirmation email and click on that link and cancel the trial. Scummy!

I downloaded this app to allow me to print off paper and pictures for work and home printers. (3x) I was not able to get to app to work for me so I’ve cancelled the subscription and remove the app from my phone. Now I’m get notifications above the subscription payment. (SMH)

I downloaded this and immediately got charged$64.99 I didn’t even use the app! SCAM

I was charged weekly (?) for an app subscription and did not know I could print straight from my phone to my printer without an app. What a crock. 9$ per week!?! Apple said I was not eligible for a refund.

Can’t get it to print

as others have mentioned this app is a complete scam. it barely functions and represents itself as if it is a free app with the option to upgrade as needed. when inputting the information needed to use the app it auto selects a tier of payment without being up front. I found recently that there are over a dozen plus “plans” of varying prices and that i have been doubled charged and charged on an inconsistent schedule. i am seeking refund from apple and reporting fraud to the FTC.

So I was trying to print out a picture from my gallery but then I got a message saying that I needed a WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION. I looked online and turns out HP doesn’t do that. Don’t let these people get your personal and card info. Instantly deleted this and downloaded the ACTUAL HP app that DOES NOT charge for you to use YOUR OWN PRINTER. UNBELIEVABLE.

Said it found my printer and could connect, but it couldn’t. Started the free trial and then its not even compatible with the app. Such a scam.

This is not Brother’s official printer app, in order to use you have to pay Nine dollars a month otherwise ,doesn’t let you use the Printer App

Resembles Android Smart app that easily prints anywhere and creates PDF’s. But after downloading, it pops up with a free TRIAL and paid subscription.

I use this app one time want to use it for free then canceled my subscription. They continued to charge me 60 bucks in total within a month save your money and just go to your library

You’ll find this printer smashed in the pieces if I have to spend money to print a document that’ll cost me about the same amount of money to have the document printed elsewhere. Because at this point there is no point in owning a printer anymore if you have to pay a subscription, never used to have to do that. And I’ve owned many printers in my lifetime.

They charge $8.99 a week or $59.99 a year to print. Thanks but I’d rather spit on an electric fence

I got a used printer. Works awesome. Got it connected and can print from air print with no app. I got this because I’m supposed to be able to print any size document and had some photos to print. I can’t change from regular paper/letter sizes when I’m trying to print a 5x7 from the photo paper slot

I print maybe 6 times a year one to six pages that’s it why do you want me to pay?

I spent two hours fighting this app. Before it would let me print i had to sign the privacy agreement. We looked everywhere for it and couldn’t get a reply through e mail. I gave up.
