as u discontinue pay the will remove all your data, just be aware if u have issues with health and remember that they do not care about you. absolutely do not recommend. there’s not even any similar apps that do the same. regret paying to them 100%

I was logging with My Net Diary but thought I’d give this app a try. The interface feels a little overloaded, but probably just takes getting used to. I logged my food in both apps for a few days and noticed discrepancies between macros and calories. When I looked closer, MacroFactor had incorrect label information. This wasn’t for variable things like raw chicken, or steak. It was for clearly labeled things like Trader Joe’s frozen turkey meatballs. The app was logging by 30% under compared to the label information. Can’t speak to how well the app works with dynamically adjusting calories based on food and energy expenditure but because of it not even having the correct label information in its database, I would not recommend paying for this. There are plenty of other free apps out there that essentially do the same thing. If you are tracking your weight regularly you can pretty easily tell if you need to cut or add more calories to your daily diet. Would not pay for this.

I was never able to make the bar code scanner work, which was the main reason I wanted the app. I joined the private Facebook group for the app. I received a notification saying I had been accepted into the group. I tried posting a question three times in the group. My question would appear and then disappear before anyone would have a chance to reply. When I would click on the “you” tab for the group, it would show that I had never posted in the group. I dumped it before the free trial ended.

Waste of money! Subscribed because Will said it was great on his YouTube channel. Doesn’t have all the foods checked or verified. Also renewed subscription without my consent. Would never EVER use this product again! I’m in the process of trying to get my money back from the te subscription I DID NOT AGREE TO!

Food macros and data is often not accurate and there is highly limited ability to customize portions. Searching for a food using text fails to get a result (or the correct result if any). Photo logging is also not accurate but is less of a concern when you need to rely on the app to at least be able to grab accurate data from barcode scans or text search. This app idea is great in theory… needs a lot of work to realistically be viable.

Poor customer service. Nearly 3 days later and still no response to a simple account related question in order to use my account.

Developers keep changing the UI layout.

Be careful to check nutritional information before logging. I have found many discrepancies compared to the nutritional labels on the packages. At times, even scanning the barcode on food package did not bring up accurate information. It’s frustrating to have to make all these corrections before logging your food.

I usually really like this app, but my bf and I both agree that the new update where it’s so much harder to flip through different days is very frustrating. Please change it back.

Has you enter a mountain of into only to tell you you can use the app without paying $11 a month to hell with this.

I used this during a free two week trial. It was so difficult to log food and is not user intuitive at all. Everything is very complicated to go back and edit or change and it seems more focused on showing pretty metrics than actually being user intuitive. Feels like something made for the gym bros who are doing too much instead of actually being something I would turn to regularly to use.

My son bought this app not knowing it was $71. I asked for a refund and was denied one. I downloaded the app to see if I could actually use it or anything on it for $71. Not only is ridiculous, it hardly works. This is information that you can find almost anywhere, and there are free trackers that are designed better.

Only reviewing the new UI update. It’s bad for smaller screens. Took forever to change settings and info still getting cut off in timeline food tiles. It looks pretty clunky and is harder to use. The food icons themselves are way too big. I understand I’m in the minority, but it’d be great to also have setting options for smaller screen users. We pay the same fee, should have a functioning UI as well.

The bar code scanner was perfect when I first started using the app but since recent updates has been way off now I have to try an do everything manually an the main point of getting this app was so I didn’t have to do that

App devs need to understand that there are a whole lot of apps promising the same things. I refuse to sign up for even a month without being able to use the app, even if only for a day. Way too many subscriptions out there. I need to know that I'm giving money towards an app that I will use. So, no free trial, no go.

Editing wrong barcoded values isn’t allowable

Seems like it’s way more complicated than it needs to be. I understand that you’re trying to par every single unit, but it doesn’t make it easy from the user perspective. I am not gonna stick with it. It seems un intuitive.

Data stop being integrated from Health app, i have to un-share and share several times to get it to pull data and sometimes that does even work. I have to manually input data. $70 a year for a broke app, what else is broke that we don’t know about, is the diet recommendations even accurate?

You literally write “cooked rice” and it calculates as raw rice’s calorie 🤡

Not only have they moved on to other apps to exploit subscription services but they have started locking down the app more and more so that my own ai agents cant access my data. So what did i do? I exported all my data manually, reproduced their algorithms, and let my AI handle things going forward. I would have been happy to keep using the app for data entry and charts but now that it is clear that you’re not only refusing to improve the app but now you’re trying to lock in users even more, this is no longer a nice and friendly service. It is hostile to users. A good run, but your proprietary algo and nice charts is no excuse for neglecting the app and locking in at over $100 a year for.
