I got this app with understanding there was a free tier. Only after giving my name, email, phone, address, ssn, did I reach a screen where I had to subscribe to “premium” plan to go forward and even use the app. Or so it seems. If this is a bug and can be fixed I would happily change my review.

They make you pay to add money to your wallet to give to your kids just to earn extra money

I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it, changed my password, and it keeps saying ‘something went wrong’

4.8 star average is a joke. I paid for the annual Premium subscription thinking that we could use this app after my daughter’s trip abroad with EF. Suddenly, my premium subscription has been cancelled and I can no longer deposit funds while she is in another country. Customer Service is non-existent. THIS IS A SCAM

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HELP ME. I need to use a debit card to speed funding along, but it doesn’t let me. Yep, I messed up as a parent and didn’t download this app 5 DAYS AHEAD of my kid’s EF Tour trip. The EF Explore America trip my kid is on will put her $20 lunch today on a card… Oh wait, no… CARD DOES NOT EXIST TIL FUNDED. My parent debit option errors as unavailable, because I used the 3-5day bank transfer option first. Now my kid will not be given the lunch money she’s due….til her tours are basically over in 5 days…and Till customer service isn’t available to care.

This app was supposed to help my child with financial literacy as well as access her money in a foreign country. The card never worked! The money would not transfer. They took the money for the premier account and would not refund it at all. Never use this! Try Venmo, green light, or a local bank

Till was easy to use at first - until they started pushing their “premium” (no longer free) version. Now they make it difficult to make any changes, like adding a new bank, or funds, etc. They want you to pay for premium.

I checked up on app when they only allowed money transfer through link to bank account. They had very low trust pilot score, so I decided it wasn’t worth the risk. They will not allow me to close the account through the app. Just keeps saying there was an error. I feel foolish for having provided personal info to this app based on the promotion of their product by EF tours. Just want them to close the account without a lot of hassle.

Everytime I load into the app or do my password a couple of times it lets me see my bank; but then the next day it logs me out. I need help

Card never came even though I ordered it with expedite option and paid extra 10 dollars for delivery. My child was not able to verify himself and had to go on a trip without the Till. I sent s letter to the support - No help or response from them.

We got this because we were told funds would be added for our son’s trip. The app said we’re all set! That was far from the case. No funds were added and when WE THEN TRIED TO GIVVE HIM MONEY it took DAYS TO GET THERE. No option to speed things up. We will close this account immediately. You have to ask yourself why use this app that costs more and is slower than a normal bank.

I was trying to get my account back bc I transferred phones and I don’t remember my password so I tried to reset it but it wouldn’t let me.

I got paid and my money didn’t come in till three days later and it wasn’t my job it was this bank holding my money

I got logged out of my app. Went to login and it didn’t accept my info. Selected “forgot password” and I never received the email to reset it. So I just figured I would create another. While creating another account I typed in that same email and it sent me a verification email. I clicked on it and started the process to set up a new account. When I got to the section to type in my number it said an account was already associated with it. I only have one email and one phone number. There’s no customer service number for me to call to get this resolved. Only email. Inconvenient. I have already received emails from till from when I initially set up the first account. So why would it recognize the number and not email?! If it can’t handle my login info correctly I’m not very confident in it handling finances.

We were forced to use this app for our daughter on a school trip. It was a nightmare to link the parent and child apps for funds transfer. And no help (no response at all) from customer service.

App was recommended by a student travel company we partnered with for my kid’s first international travel. We liked that it was a Visa card. Since then, it has been a struggle to move funds. Deposits from my bank are getting canceled by Till. And when I tried to send the remaining balance back to my bank, it would not process the request. After a quick Google search, there are plenty of other folks experiencing this issue and it’s clear Till is not taking the time to correct it on a global view. You are much better off having an account through a local credit union than a third party app. We plan to use up the funds and cancel.

You have to pay for the no fees and they charge you five dollars for every withdrawal other than the ATM owners fee and the app is hard to navigate through and the savings part you have to pay for the premium option just to get interest and it’s only 2% not a high-yield. It’s only a 2% interest that you have to pay five dollars a month to get kind of not worth it.

Stop stealing from me

I was forced to install this app and set up an account due to it being used by my kids school. Capital One offers a far superior set up and more features, along with other Banks, and I question how well TILL can protect customer data. Verifying an account was a challenge since I use electronic billing and notifications. For those who have purchased a home and have it paid off, the challenges increase more as Till requires a mortgage or rental agreement be in place to use your home as verification. Once my kids are done using this for their school trip, I will contact the company to remove all of our data and close all accounts immediately. I have serious concerns on their ability to keep personal data safe, and the data they requested seems excessive and of high risk for a child’s basic account. I will be speaking to the school about not using this company going forward for school activities due to these concerns and the challenges of setting up a basic child’s account.

My child was not able to use money during the whole trip. Give your child different card

Unfortunately, I could not transfer any funds to my child’s account for over 2 weeks now as it keep saying “failed”. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, updated the app, emailed customer service and nothing. Since the app is useless now, I’ll have to close it and have the remaining balance mailed to me. It was great up until it stopped working.
