#32 top-grossing, Health & Fitness
Store ratings include star-only taps from in-app prompts, which skew high. The peak and recent figures come only from people who wrote a review, which skews low. Compare each against itself: the drop is the signal, and a big gap between the two usually means heavy rating prompting is masking unhappy users.

Why the hell do you need my personal info for heart rate!?
I purchased Impulse for my iPhone 18 Pro Max, but the app does not work properly on my phone. I have tried troubleshooting it but have not been able to use the app. I would recommend that iPhone 18 Pro Max users check compatibility carefully before purchasing. I am currently trying to obtain a refund because the app isn’t usable for me.
I tried the free introductary tryout. It did not work the blood pressure readings were not accurate . They tried to use flattery and badges to soothe me it upsets me that there was no accuracy. This app might be fraudulent
Deceptively locks you in a WEEKLY subscription, not the typical monthly, totaling in ~$28/month for a less than rigorous app. Not enough Corporate Memphis art in the world that makes this a better investment than just counting your own pulse.
Do not download this app. I canceled my subscription and days later they tried to charge me. It is inactive in my subscriptions but yet still took money and they do not offer refunds. I will be filing a claim with my bank.
The app itself is pretty solid. The issue is - there’s no reasonable way to cancel a subscription. I’ve attempted to cancel a subscription from the App Store only to get charged three days after I’ve cancelled. Then, go to the app - there’s no way to cancel a subscription on there. In fact, when you go to the customer support section, there’s a whole page called Cancel Subscription. But rather than allowing you to cancel your subscription, it forces you to fill out a customer support ticket. Thus, considering that cancelling from the App Store isn’t respected and that the app itself provides no way to cancel a sub (not to mention a $7/WEEK subscription) - I can only conclude that this app is essentially malware. I will be reporting these charges as fraudulent to my bank tomorrow.
The InPulse used to provide all the functions, now just heart rate and you have to pay for premium now to get the same. Think that is bs so basically will not be supporting this app any longer.
Does not measure blood pressure
I have NEVER subscribed to this or any Health App. I have never used it, nir do I plan to use it. However, I just opened my iPhone Subscription Setting to turn off Auto Renewal on an App I AM subscribed to and saw this having RENEWED 06/2026!!! I will contact my Card Company as I have no idea how long this has been stealing from me. I would give it a minus 100,000,000,000 Stars if I could!!!
Disappointing when freemium gets curtailed
I tried to use this app and it’s basically not able to give accurate readings on its own. I also was charged $39.99 without any warning and now they won’t contact me back after I emailed them to stop the charge.
Very inaccurate readings even of HR in a static position.
I downloaded this to try it and got nothing but ads. After the 3rd ad I deleted the app. “Our app is free because it’s nothing but ads.” What a joke.
As I said too many pop up ads. And a wise guy response from the developer too. Developer put a ton of ads to get you to pay for a subscription to block them. Total money grab so don’t bother.
Be aware…I paid for premium but did not get access to premium features
I wanted a BP monitor this was supposed to be free once you download they want you to pay a monthly fee!
The app has tons of trouble detecting true heart rate. It either jumps to really high number or drops really low, other times it stays still on the first number it detects and doesn’t fluctuate at all even if you move around and do things that would change your BPM. Don’t download, don’t pay for the garbage sub.
Do not try this app. It said three day free trial and then tried to charge me $20.
Most pulse ox meters you can buy for cheap come with a free app that does all the same things. I can’t find a single feature here that you can’t get for free (or very low price) elsewhere. It’s crazy what they’re trying to charge for this very simple BP app and some super basic manual logging.
It didn’t work
Don’t bother even download this. It’s free to download, but all it gives you when you try to do anything is click this install that and their programs that are free to download the cost to use
I’m trying to cancel my subscription but u won’t let me
I opted for a three day free trial. The next screen showed plan availability. Without authorizing a credit card I was billed for a one year plan. I tried to cancel before the three day trial ended and my screen showed it would not cancel until one year from the day I selected a three day trial. This is nothing more than fraud which I will report to Apple and my State Attorney General.
Free is true but if you want to use the app it will cost you. False advertisement!
What would it take to build a viable competitor, what would it cost to run every month, and a prompt to get started. Generated from the reviews on file; one LLM call per brief. Set ANTHROPIC_API_KEY for a real brief; the stub only fills in a template.
