Please update all servers ASAP! Mullvad VPN after several hours connected on Desktop is indicating Arabic characters even though I am connected in United States!

Update: 1 week later, no response from developers, problem is worse than ever. 1-star until fixed. Original: Love Mullvad, but after years of stability, this last update has left it almost unusable. It disconnects and reconnects CONSTANTLY. I can’t believe how bad it is now. Mullvad developer team: I know you never respond to feedback on here, but something is seriously wrong with your app, and you need to fix it quickly or you’re going to lose loyal customers. Just that simple. :(

I placed this on my mobile. From the get go, it was obvious I couldn’t use it. I cannot pay to use this because I have no income. I went to the website and found no way to redeem vouchers. I found nothing about vouchers at all. I have an account number, but I deleted the application. I won’t be using it. So therefore, you can delete the account. Don’t ask me to do myself. I am literally dying physically and cannot.

No automatic off switch if vpn fails. And the vpn will fail. You will be connected to a server and then you will check which one and that server will have vanished and youll just be disconnected. Instead of this thing switching you to a different server. Thanks a lot. So mullvad has been advertising so heavily that they have gotten too big for their britches. I deal with constant captchas and human verification bs. Not to mention that the sf servers are so worthless. That when you use them you get flagged by every app. And have to deal with age verification bs. Mullvad has jumped the shark by becoming too big and its just not practical for day to day stuff. Probably won’t buy another month. Whatever you do, dont buy more than one month at a time because i anticipate their service becoming even worse and no amount of yearly discount will make it worth it. If this company cant be clever and be a good vpn. We will take our money elsewhere

The worst service ever! I used many well known vpns this one is the worse! You have to keep change location for it to actually connect! You choose uk it connects you to Spain! Not to mention the ips provided by the service have fraud complaints like what did I pay for! Even if it’s small amount of money but the trust and the time worth more!

Mullvad’s iOS app has never support automatic VPN connection, so I use their DNS servers to have some level of protection when I’m not connected. Now they’re shutting down those servers and not providing an alternative that supports add and tracker blocking.

Unacceptable and inhumane politics being promoted by one of the founders, who may have been partially funded by subscribing to this

Have been a customer for over 3 years and have never had an issue until now. The app has just stopped working completely on both my iOS devices with no explanation or way to recoup the time I’ve paid for. Infinitely loads on every network I’ve tried.

I’ve been using Mullvad on both my phone and laptop for several years, and generally like it. It’s obviously well-priced and prioritizes privacy, even though it’s pretty annoying that it’s frequently blocked by Google and Reddit. However, I have a fairly new iPhone with very good battery life and I do notice it randomly getting hot. Most egregiously, a couple nights ago, I went to bed with 48% battery. Usually when I do that, I’ll have 35-40% battery when I wake up. This time, it was literally 1%. When I checked my settings, it was Mullvad and only Mullvad that was the culprit, using 40%+, whereas the next app in usage was my Find My app, which only took 1%. I have no idea why it did that this time, and it makes me want to permanently disable Mullvad. Please address this ASAP.

Won’t connect, at least before it would connect despite getting blocked anywhere and everywhere

I tried to reset my subscription because I ran out of time I wanna pay more to extend my subscription but the app won’t let me nor is it an update for the app for this problem Not ok at ALL I want to be able to access non propaganda press outlets why do I have to be denied for the last hour

Gave it a try on a recommendation from a user who swore by it. I never once had success with this vpn, the only reason I have it two stars was because it was so cheap I could spare to lose the money I spent on “services”.

Often blocked by sites like google and Reddit. Difficult to switch servers no touch map to switch. Primitive user interface.

Great with android but doesn’t work with iOS. Waste of money. Seriously don’t give them your money for nothing. Scum.

I respect the integrity and mission of Mullvad, but every 24 hours it is unable to connect to any server until I reset my phone. I’m not sure if it’s an iPhone thing or something on Mullvad’s end, but I do not recommend this for iPhone users.

Since removing OpenVPN support I have been unable to use Mullvad consistently. Wireguard connections get blocked by businesses much more frequently meaning the app cannot connect to any servers. I mullvad's position that OpenVPN is less secure but none of that matters if wireguard is easily blocked and you can't connect to the service!

I have gigabit internet, I know when videos buffer its because of mullvad. It is not a set and forget vpn experience

Don’t let Mullvad TRICK you with the notifications. Anybody knows that any app that use notifications uses the notifications to build a profile on you. What’s real interesting that you can turn everything off turn off Siri, Search, Notifications, Background App Refresh and anytime you update the app. It turns it all back on those are all things that are used to build a profile on you. A VPN doesn’t need to have access to Siri doesn’t need to have access to your Notifications to function. Doesn’t need access to your Search either. If you don’t believe me research everything on your own. Also, if you read closely on the apps privacy, notice it even states,” Privacy practices may vary based on the FEATURES you use or your age.” If the company truly cared about your privacy, they would take more of a front line explaining this and disclosing everything.

Literally I have noticed iPhone getting hot when this is on especially when I leave it charging overnight. The culprit is this app. YOU WILL ESPECIALLY NOTICE MORE IF YOU USE MAGSAFE….. even on corded it gets hot as well with time. WATCH IT !!!!! It’s a shame cause I love this app but don’t wanna cook my battery

I got this von bc it doesn’t have ties to Israel. However it’s prepaid and and when you run out of time and it’s on, the internet on your phone (wifi or cell network) just STOPS WORKING and there’s no notification or anything explaining the issue. It took me forever to figure out why nothing was working on my phone I’m so frustrated!
