Wanderlog - Travel Planner

I think this app has a great idea but it doesnt fulfill. Not everything synchs from email and what does comes thru with multiple. I also think the synching creates multiples in my Google Calendar.. The in app experience is clumsy and not easy to navigate. I even paid for the app as i thought maybe it was just the free version that had bugs Disappointed as I really wanted to like this

I reviewed this a while ago that it is a great app but there was no dark mode included for free. To this day this is still the case. It is unacceptable that an app does not include a dark mode when the ENTIRE OS has a dark mode. This should be standard, and not be a paid feature. I appreciate that it took a while to perfect by the developer. But we’re talking choosing colors. And that was years ago. Just include it in the base version now.

I don’t understand why developers think spamming people with popups is a good idea. It’s like I’m using the obnoxious Temu app or something. I didn’t even get a chance to use this because there’s no way I’m going to subject my friends to this just to keep track of an itinerary.

I sent every email I had about my trip. The airline booking and hotels were fine, everything else it ignored. Now I have to go through everything manually. I have so many restaurants and tours planned this thing should all of that for me. Now it is a total waste of my time. And to think I just paid for the yearly plan. Ugh!

Your app is auto filtering for hotels ranging in price from $0-$1. Won’t let me increase it. So for that, you get uninstalled. Glad I paid $0 to find this out and is the exact reason I refuse any apps that force purchasing just to try them.

This app was amazing when you could just open it and use it. Now the developers have create an Account Creation wall at the front of the app that would in and of itself be bad if it wasn’t the single worst sign up process I’ve ever encountered since I got my first iPhone in 2010. Shamefully bad and disappointing.

I find it incredibly difficult to add the tours unless they are already in their address book. I’ve spent too much time on this. I wanted to share it with my group but that’s going to cost them all so overall the concept is good, it was a fail for me.

Listen I buy apps every month. I’ve been a developer FE/BE for decades. There are just some things that should be included. Dark mode is one of those settings. The app is ok, using it because my daughter likes it otherwise there’s so many other apps that offer basic settings for free with the same travel planning format. Cheap and greedy is a bad look ya’ll.

I immediately was charged to my card $20 for the free trial and to try out the “free” upgrade for the pro. Did not expect to get charged for a “free” subscription trial. I’m sure it’s a great app, I don’t think I’ll use it ever again. WILD!

Even if you enter your non Google email, it ignores it and captures and makes you use a Gmail account even though you may no longer use it or have the password for it. Not sure why this app would want your Gmail password to proceed.

I simply wanted an app that showed me things to see along my drive. Now, I couldn’t find anything that allowed me to do that but that doesn’t mean it is possible. Also, forever questions about what I am looking for. How about just my giving start and end point and poof, here are sights to see. I’m not going to pay for this and thankfully I didn’t after reading other reviews detailing how buying it doesn’t work.

I downloaded the app only to view the itinerary of a family member. First I wasn't able to view anything without creating an account. Second, I couldn't view anything without answering over a dozen questions and paging through another dozen screens of promotional information. Finally I get a screen that states "Wanderlog is always free to use. But we would love for you to try Wanderlog Pro — free for 7 days." The word "always" is underlined. The only way past this screen is to select to "start for free," which is unclear if it means free trial subscription or no subscription. Then there are another dozen pages trying to convince you to subscribe. The less than obvious way out of these is a tiny X in the upper left corner. The entire experience left such a bad taste that I'll be deleting this app.

I tried it, but couldn’t find any way to add points of interest, hotels, restaurants that I’ve already identified other than by scrolling through long lists in hope Wanderlog includes them … and often they’re not there. There’s not even a text search available to make it easier to determine that Wanderlog does not include something you want to add. You can’t even re-sort these lists by name to jump to a letter to see if the desired place is on the pre-limited list. Extremely disappointing!

This use to be a great app. However I have paid for the upgraded version twice now and the app continues to ask me to start a “free 7 day trial and then proceeds to charge me day 7 but still won’t let me use the features. When I try the get help from app support it tells me I need to download the app….I literally have the app and have downloaded, deleted, and downloaded. Update I unowned tried to contact support 5x’s with no response

This is the worst travel app I’ve used. You might think this is a good app if you’ve never looked at any other app. The email itinerary function didn’t ever create itineraries for me or reject me or even say that anything went wrong. It just never showed up in the trip. Also, the wizard is annoying. When you start a new trip it asks you all kinds of questions that you’re not ready to answer yet. Even their helpdesk function is terrible because you will look up a question and it will have like one sentence worth of description there no pictures no videos nothing

Requires a login so it is of no use

I have communicated several times that I have paid my 39.99 for the full app and have sent them a picture of my receipt in Apple and they still will not recognize it. I would not suggest this - seems to be a scam. Better to go with trip it.

New update made app useless. Nothing loads and stuck on the opening screen. I have tried using WiFi and just regular cell service. I have a trip coming up in a few days and have no way to track it easily now.

I signed up for the free trial and it immediately charged me. I figured since I paid for it already, I might as well use it for the year but the purchase never registered and it continues to ask me to “start for free” I have received NONE of the features I “paid” for and Apple will not honor a refund even though I was supposed to be on a “ free trial” for seven days.

When I try to write something in English, it pushes me over to Italian and I can’t change it. It’s freaking annoying. That’s why I’m deleting the

You charged me $39 for the pro subscription which I did not agree upon and I am still running the basic. No way of canceling this. Help.

i tried the free trial a few mos ago and it seemed like all i was looking for. once i subscribed, whether it be coincidence or what, its been downhill for me. I can’t generate any itinerary and ive been preparing for several trips. now im in the middle of a trip and it wont even let me save a trip i create. so frustrating. i can’t get a hold of support to get this straightened out. why is this so painful.

Not worth the money.any AI would be better . Google Maps and a piece of paper would work better.

App puts you through an interrogation before it even shows up, do I really need to provide a DNA sample? Just read a Rick Steve’s post.
