Weather on the Way

Unfortunately I was signed up for a yearly subscription after discovering my trial cancelation window closed two days prior. I immediately contacted tech support to request a refund. And after silence from them sent another message Crickets. So now I’m signed up for a year I didn’t want. And an unresponsive costumer support team. Yuck.

Works ok. App crashed 3 times in the first 2 hours of my drive causing me to reenter my destination multiple times while driving in the rain on the interstate. I understand the data needs to refresh but the whole screen flashing gets annoying and I my directions stopped showing up on the screen except the blue line. No warning of getting off one interstate onto another or taking an exit unless I kept looking at the screen. If you zoom in to actual overview like any other gps you lose the weather overlay which is the entire point of the app. I can’t justify paying for it.

Maybe I’m an idiot, but I cannot for the life of me get my iPhone to get the green un that allows me to connect to my 2023 Chevrolet CarPlay. Extremely frustrated. Can anybody out there? Tell me how to do this?

Multiple stops has max of 24 hours, needs at least 2 or more days to map out a longer route. Also on shorter drives we experienced bogus info about weather most days we used it. Switched to RV Weather and it’s a lot better, not perfect but better results closer to conditions experienced.

The past several times I’ve used it, the weather indicated on the app is not what is happening in real time. So, not very helpful, really. Won’t be renewing.

I purchased one month for $4.99 and was billed $34.99 three days later. after purchase of 4.99 My bank canceled that 34.99 scam be careful.

I am taking shelter for a severe thunderstorm warning with no warning from this app while navigating. Couldn’t see the road with such heavy rain even with hazard lights on. Many cars with me took cover at next exit at a gas station where I am learning a Thunderstorm Warning in this area for 30 minutes and Flood Warning for an hour. This is a major interstate and this app said “light rain”. I do not trust this app for safety!!!

Love the ability to see the storm cells live on Apple CarPlay and know when the weather will hit along the way.

The app does a sub-par job when traveling overnight. Seems as though the app cannot differentiate between what’s tomorrow or the following day, which led to incorrect weather.

before paying for the app, make sure you search the reviews by most recent. Just looking at the 4.8 on stars makes you think it’s still very good. But based on the reviews sorted by most recently, it does not look like it is.

Bait and Switch

I purchased the pro version of the app because I drive a lot for my job and to visit friends and family. I recently asked for a route because I was worried about flooding. I live near a major freeway and the app should automatically pick that as the route. Instead, it has me driving as the crow flies. In addition, all the times displayed were wrong (this is new). I can’t change the route by adding points (all the points are also placed on the previous route it gave me). I tried just selecting the freeway and despite that, it had me driving along the frontage road. I also can’t drag the route where I would like it. This is frustrating and has happened before. Surely the app could be changed to allow those of us who purchase it to drag the route where we’d like it. For flooding, severe weather or road closures it is important to have the route that will be driven. This is why I spent good money on this app. Oh, and btw hitting app support just takes you to a web page, not to where you can send a message. That is why I added a new title to my review and changed the rating downwards.

My VPN gave me a malicious site warning so I deleted. Not willing to risk it.

Doesn’t seem to work.

I’ve been using this app occasionally for a few years, and it was very useful until the live radar was removed from the free version. Free version is useless now. Can’t justify $5 a month for the 2 or 3 times a year I will use this.

Tried many times and many different approaches. Could not get the app to share to my wife’s phone that is connected to family plan and the app shows available to be shareable on the phone. Within 24 hours requested refund due to this, and am now being told I do not have a refundable purchase. So wasted the up-charge of $15 for annual family share plan. For this reason I am saying do not buy the Family Plan. The individual plan is great and I love the app. Just very frustrated about the broken share feature.

It won’t let go of previous destinations. It wants to take you back to them when they have no interest in where you want to go.

Hard to tell the level or the intensity of the rain

I signed up for the 7-day free trial subscription and wanted to confirm I would be able to use this app while we are on the road. My account was charged and now whether I want to or not, I’ve got the app for a year.

Disappointed I can’t get the storm info today without giving my credit card info.

Just another useless app that used to be great but now requires you to pay forever. Happy to put an end to it and all other subscription models.
