Crashes when trying to access location. Kinda defeats the purpose of a weather app

There was a time the app was easy to understand, accurate, and user friendly. You could store multiple areas and instantly look them up, pick what info is displayed and now I can’t even figure out how to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. I’m literally removing it from my phone now.

Not sure what has changed, but within the past few months, there is close to a 10% accuracy in what this depicts. As an example, right now, it has been pouring for 15 minutes with lightning and thunder. There is no precip in the forecast. I understand forecasts, but this used to be fairly accurate.

I paid for premium service to be able to schedule work. This app is only reliable if you don’t have windows or doors and need to know the current weather conditions. Don’t count on them being accurate 6 hrs out. I wish I could just get my money back. Absolutely worthless!!

I’m suddenly locked out of half the options even though I have a premium subscription. Which shows they should all be available but they are not. Everything is updated, new ipad, latest ios, etc. It was working fine this morning but now it’s not, on both my ipad and iphone. And I’m logged in.

The number of days shown is fixed at 4, even after upgrading. Please fix asap. Hard restart did not fix Re: developer response Hi I already read your forum and had the settings on auto before this review. Does not work. Please fix

400% increase? Nope. Not anywhere near worth that. I just need to make sure it’s not in automatic renewal.

Used this app for years and loved it, and one day suddenly you can only look at about 3 of the "layers" for free now. Even thunderstorms are hidden behind a subscription. Won't be redownloading

The native iPhone Weather app is far superior

Now you want to be paid for what you use to offer. No longer providing long term forecasts. So we will be soon departing

Used to be a wonderful “go to” for WX picture! Not now. Developers have added nearly all of the possible changes in view the screen, making viewing the WX picture a cluttered mess. It is beyond useful, and it’s certainly no longer a “clear picture”. I absolutely hate it, since I cannot turn off the most offending “choices” of the dreadful mess.

Can’t get the premium account to work on an iPhone when I already paid for it for my old phone, an Android. Can’t find any customer service contact info anywhere. I checked online and on fb and through the app. I will update this review if I get this resolved.

There is no way to submit bugs or feedback, so if the devs at least read it here: Please make the app work when WiFi HTTP proxy is in effect (user manually defined or received via automatic dhcp). It currently fails to get data if HTTP proxy is set.

Signed up for premium and the app works worse now.

Won’t allow you to get notifications without giving it unfettered access to your location services. I cannot understand why you can’t manually put in the zip code for the location you want notifications for! As far as I can tell, this is the case for ALL ios weather apps. Ridiculous.

I purchased premium, logged in and it acknowledged that I am logged in and have premium – and it still just gives me a five day forecast and basic everything. It was working, and now it's not.

Hi, this would be a great app if somehow you would use a different source for the current conditions. NOAA only updating once an hour is horrible. When I want to see the current temperature, I don’t want to view one that is 30 minutes, or 45 minutes, or 60 minutes old. NOAA should be replaced by you. Love everything about the app except that.

This app used to be accurate but in the past year it’s become more and more inaccurate especially with wind speed and wind gusts. I’m currently being battered by 45+ mph winds with gusts up to 65, but the app shows 10 to 15 mph winds and gusts up to 24. That’s dangerously inaccurate

Not very good. Typically looking out the window is just as good.

Better to trust your local weather information than this application because it’s not as good as it used to be.

Currently showers and 100% cloud cover and your forecast is showing full sun for that hour? Apple weather is showing sprinkling and cloudy. Which weather site would you choose?

5/1/25: why is the app now displaying “1000” over the wind lines, instead of the wind speed? Nothing in the configuration changes it, and wind speed is set to mph. 8/13/24: I no longer trust Ventusky. I was counting on it giving me actual current wind speed and direction, and it was just showing me. 6 hours old projection of what the forecast is for this time. I do not believe it was even remotely current or accurate. Such a disappointment. 7/2/24: Wind speeds, the whole purpose of this ap, are in such a small font, with minimal contrast to the background, that they are virtually unreadable. SUPPORT DYNAMIC FONT! I really like the wind depiction, if I didn’t need a magnifying glass to read the numbers.

The app always showed ten days of predicted outlook. Today only shows about 32 hours ! Unable to locate a way to return to ten day outlook ???
