I have to try deleting this app for a month. I would like to delete this account. I would like to deleted the picture I posted. I would like to not give any star. I write this review now.

The people on here pretend to be the women in the profiles. The women get paid to talk to you from a percentage of what you pay! What’s wrong with this world?

All verified people is most definitely part of a community keeping you buying credits for not conversation time and they are not real. ****Don’t pay don’t use ****

Wanting way to much data simply to signup

I joined DateMyAge hoping to meet people closer to my age and was initially impressed by how engaged and communicative many of the men seemed. Within five days, however, I had already spent about $109 between the membership and additional credits. The biggest issue for me is the credit-based communication system. Regular chats use credits, emails can cost 10 credits just to open, and other features cost even more. I also learned that “Free Users” are encouraged to stay very active and responsive on the platform, which made me question how much of the constant attention was organic versus influenced by the structure of the site. I had several conversations that became unusually intense very quickly, with frequent follow-ups and repeated attempts to keep the conversation going. When I asked one person I had genuinely enjoyed talking with whether he would be open to moving our conversation off the platform, he preferred to continue chatting there. That was the point where I decided the experience no longer felt comfortable or authentic enough for me to continue paying for. The app itself functions fine, and I did have some enjoyable conversations, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars rather than 1. But I strongly recommend understanding the credit system and Free User model before spending money here. It can become expensive very quickly. A point of interest is I was receiving 10-15 messages daily while my subscription was active. I cancelled my subscription less than 24 hours ago and still have 3 weeks remaining of my subscription and I have received zero messages today. Coincidence? You decide.

Don’t join this app. It is a scam. They don’t allow you to cancel the subscription.

everything is a set up to rip you off

Honestly I have a terrible experience… first the app capitalizes on everything… from chatting, calls, audio message and viewing phone sent by someone… one of the terrible app ever plus I bought 20 credits twice on the 20th August, 2026 and 21 August 2026 and none of it was credited to my profile… and most people on the site are just not it

Found out it was like an ai was talking to. They repeated the same line for the past three days. As to the point I get it no one really real on this app and there is no one in my area or even close to my area.

There is nothing real about this site. Even to cancel the membership is made difficult. Sham Scam .. don’t do it.

This site is pure reap off. You pay for the app then you still have to pay to message people. This is pure scam

The people on this app are fake bots, the developers just trick you into buying a subscription to keep texting.

Worse than pof

So far I have had to delete and reinstall the app three times to get my age verified, even though my age is corrected on my Apple ID. Now that I finally have proven that I'm old, I can't get past the screen that asked your name, age, and what you're looking for. It just freezes. I can add one thing and then it freezes over and over and over again so far I've barely been able to use this app and I think it's horrible.

This app and site is a scam. You sign up and pay premium and then keep requesting more payments for credits. Ridiculously expensive!!!

Initially, I really liked the way that allowed me to search for people however I encountered several profiles who were verified who kept attempting to keep me on the app, using voice notes and emails and photographs, items that cost credits to open and read which forced me to spend hundreds of dollars in a very short amount of time. They would refuse to get off the app which leads me to believe that these are people who are either being paid to get you to stay buying credits on the app.. All in all, it was a very disheartening experience.

I canceled my profile and I am still getting messages from this app to respond to “someone sent you a message”. They don’t delete your information at all. They maintain it so it looks like they have people available when it is all A.I. If you like to pay to talk to a bot then by all means use this but don’t expect anything in return except an empty wallet.

I’ve been using the app since 2022 and I believe the price is okay but since 2 years now I’ve not been able to get messages the way I do get them after purchase and also more of the accounts that brings out fire are more plenty than the ones that shows online. I’ve wasted lot of coins and it’s not working like before. What changed? Is there a way for me to use the app so I can receive messages the way I used to receive them again. Actually I’m from Nigeria, maybe I need a vpn to on or something.

Not real photos

I was bombarded as a female on this app as soon as I joined. And every little thing you do or click in as a credit that costs money. There is no way I could have responded to or addressed all of the messages, chats, video calls and pictures I received without spending hundreds of dollars. Fairly certain that 99% of the men are bots and have fake profiles and are paid actors in an effort to extort the user.

From what I read before subscribing with paying to Date My Age, to what I experienced, I do not recommend this dating site. I did not receive what I paid for. BE CAREFUL IS MY OPINION to other people.
