MacrosFirst - Macro Tracker

I thought I was going to like this but it was hard to work and way to expensive to just log my food

while it’s a pretty app, and i like the individual meal macros, there are some key features missing like being able to choose a recipe serving size and adjust the serving to fit your macros!!

Couldn’t make any entries nor cancel subscription or delete account the only option recognizing was the option to select type of billing

Can’t even try the free version of the app it forces you into a trial before you can do anything

App is very slow and sluggish after last update. Slow to respond to input since

The app is claimed to be free to use, but it is not free. You get a seven day free trial and then you must subscribe for money. Misleading and not worth wasting your time.

It said there was a free version, but it only lasts for two weeks, and even try those two weeks you have to agree to purchase. No thank you.

Love this app! Absolutely hate the new version of this! It feels like some game I just want a basic food tracker! So hard to read everything now.

The update is so bad. A BUNCH of the foods that I always used, eggs etc. have the nutritional facts all out of whack!!! Can I please have access to the old version?? I was just fine with the old one

Clumsy, scattered and totally unintuitive

I recently purchased another truck that also lets you track macros and they compare the results to the same foods. The calories protein carbs values were absolutely different. I then double checked the nutrition information online and it turned out that values in MacrosFirst are significantly inaccurate My example was with chicken breast and it’s inaccurate for 100cal and 10g of protein. When you are in a calorie deficit this amount of numbers matters a lot

This is a SCAM app charges you non stop wether you cancel it or not. Even if you don’t sign up for one at all. IVE CONTACTED APPLE AND EVEN INACTIVE IT STILL KEEP CHARGING ME 41.99. SCAM ALERT. App will steal your money! Do not use!

I really wanted to love this app, but my dietitian wants me to track fiber, protein, carbs, and fat. This tracker lists protein, carbs, fat and calories in the main section next to each food item but not fiber. You have to drill down into the other nutrients to find fiber. People have been requesting this option for two years and it still hasn't been instituted. I've since deleted the app.

I really am disappointed I use to love this app in 2024-2025, the recent update is HORRIBLE. Please go back to the old app. It’s so hard to properly calculate your meals, Difficult to search and log already made meals, and it’s too much cluttered on one screen. I might as well give my fitness pal my money! I will be deleting this app.

Once you get everything filled out they want $80 a year.

After using this app for years and not seeing much progress, I finally realized its calories are underreported by up to 300. This is a huge and unforgivable discrepancy and their database should be checked and everyone who downloads this app with the hope of making progress should not have to go into this blind.

You get the app, fill out questions and then need an email for a login link. Link takes you to a browser page that says download app, if you open the app it asks to open your email. No way to get past this loop of open app/open email. Maybe it works if you click premium instead of free.

Don’t waste your time. You can’t use it without a subscription. Go through the whole set up for nothing. Total scam

This app acts like it is free. It’s not! You have to get the premium version to even use it. Very deceptive and frustrating! Just say that it’s a paid app.🙄

I have tried to get my refund as I did not want to sign up, I tried the free trial and I still meet the window for being refunded and they are making it impossible! I need my money back and they have been very unhelpful! Very unhappy do not recommend!

I dont like the location of the log button top right corner and the search bar. Really hate the location of the search bar. It doesnt stand out. Feels hiddne in the middle of the page. What search bar is in the middle of the screen?!

Latest update version is terrible. Been using for years but will now delete & use another app as the screen is too clunky. No reason there are 6 places to search food when only 1 is needed.
