They force you to pay something you definitely didn’t agree upon even after you cancelled your subscription not even worth downloading

Stole my money and still can’t recover apps I’ve lost due to charge. No help from support or developers.

I didn’t subscribe to this app but they kept charging me 8 dollars a week, even though they can clearly see that I never opened the app once during the periods I was being charged. When I finally noticed that I was being erroneously charged, Apple refused to refund my money and didn’t provide any explanation and refused to change their decision when asked to review. I just don’t understand how they can just charge you for a subscription that you never ordered. 8 dollars a week? The one time I did try this app a couple years ago, I had very limited success with it accurately differentiating between different plants and types of trees in my yard, so it was of no value to me in my quest to identify all of my plants and learn as much about them as possible, so I could provide the best possible care within my ability and knowledge to do so. I am just very frustrated above everything else that I can be charged so many times, when at the very least, I never intentionally subscribed to the app, and I was denied a refund when requested, and at worst questionable business practices by the App Store and/or this app. I’m not entirely who is doing what because they intentionally don’t allow you to talk to a human or offer any explanation. I’ve been a good and loyal paying customer for years, but this has really rubbed me wrong

Followed the advice for helping rid of plant pest. Within a week, the plant rotted and died compared to its slightly ugly look due to said pest. This app provides horrible advice. Do not buy into their garbage. Thank you for the poor advice that killed my mango tree.

App doesn’t work after purchasing a subscription and there is no phone contact with developers to resolve. They have your money but no service is provided.

I take a picture of unwanted weeds in my lawn, and instead of telling me how to remove them, It tells me how to make them healthier… Worthless

give different plant names for the same plant I took picture of the same tree and got 4 different plant types

Great app if you want to know the bare minimum about a plant. But the expectation of a monthly subscription is insane when I can use AI for free to get significantly more information.

They reel you in and boom here goes the weekly monthly and yearly fees

Supposed to get 7 day trial. Doesn’t work that way. Advertising deceptive.

total trash with false hype and advertising on app store. have lengthy god knows what self promotion screen when first open and immediately asking subscription when app finally loads, refuse to identify plant as simple as this app should do but implant trap button - if you click enhance accuracy button it prompts you to start subscription again. Also btw, failed to detect plant in my screen. Things is, such app should be simple and hold fidelity on its purpose, for new user, instead of greedily asking for money, never install this again and regret it showing on my app store recommendation and waste my time

Has worked OK when ID-ing outdoor plants, however when I’ve tried it on houseplants in stores and in my large collection, it hits about 50-50. It called my Tephrocactus a “Peyote” (I wish!) and my Calkin’s Gold Philodendron a “Ring of Fire” and they look nothing alike!

Charged memberships even after I canceled during the free trial week!! Without my permission!! Wth

This app said I was overwatering it, so I cut back the water. About 4 days later all of the leaves were brown. I had an arborist come out and he said it died due to extreme drought conditions.

Not accurate in identifying

Unless a person is attempting to identify an extremely common plant, this app is worthless! You can’t take for granted that the first identification is correct! I just attempted to identify a plant in my yard… this worthless app gave me FIVE DIFFERENT IDs for the very same plant. I took 6 photos and the same app gave me the same incorrect ID twice. It was like the app was throwing darts at different IDs, in hopes I would choose one of them as being correct. This happens often… not even close to the “first time”. I ended up just pulling the plant up.

Generated nonsensical paragraphs containing irrelevant or incorrect information along with spelling errors

i’d like to send FloraAI a picture of my plant so it can evaluate it and i can’t because there’s no camera icon to take the pic. i’m paying a lot of money for an app i expect it to work properly with all the features it should be providing

The trial was wonderful unfortunately I have no money to buy it. It would be nice to know if something’s poisonous. And to help choose plants to ask for for Mother’s Day.

Any rare plants I type, it keeps giving me unrelated generic suggestions like Virginia creeper, which literally sucks. I am seriously ticked and nerdy for over what the app search behaved. I wish these plants can be added, ad they literally have FULL INFORMATION inside of them.

I love the app but needed to change my email address associated with it but the program isn’t set up to allow it. Sadly I will need to delete my membership

garbage app with no built in history. of course its the "top" of the plant id apps 🤦‍♂️

The app caused the death of my beloved Money Tree and a brand new emerald ripple pepper plant. I wish I could get my money back. This horrible product cost me almost $100 to replace them. I don’t use it anymore and went back to the soil touch test to determine time to water. I am so angry with this company. They should be ashamed of themselves for creating a product that kills plants.

I really liked this app in the past, but now they use ai in all of their ads and in the app as well. With fake imagery instead of showing real results, I just can't trust that they're still giving the correct information. I'm highly disappointed in the direction they've gone.
