Notion: Notes, Tasks, AI

I enjoy the/Laptop app, but on phones and ipads it just feels clunky and lacks a lot of the quick functionality features that make it a good tool. For me, especially with ADHD, it starts to feel less like an organization and note taking app, and more like an extra task in it of itself. I think these would make a huge difference : — bulk photo delete — bulk tab moving — command buttons (could use the 3 lines at the bottom.) — more intuitive ways to organize (charts, calendars, etc are quite difficult to use in app.)

I’m on a iPad. Stop removing useful features. The sidebars collapse/expand on pages is no longer there anymore.

Well, notion is a great service to organize just about any type of information, but the iOS app is terrible. Incredibly buggy, that seems to get worse with every update. I’m still using it because I have too much invested in the platform, so I hope they get around to fixing everything.

If I had not used it in writing notes in Mac already, I would never used it in my iPad cause the app here is disappointing for the following reasons This app is difficult to use as a note taken in IOS : - Always lagging - when I try to type using iPad keyboard I can’t see what I am writing cause the page will scroll down every single time - not apple pencil friendly, text difficult to recognize (when I try to select words[writing and editing using it is something I had long since learned that they will never fix it{) - AI support is not optimum in iPad, whenever I will use it the app will lag and I need to close it and reopen to continue my notes taken - can not search in the page alone - I can not change the color of any text , it will immediately lag , and do not apply the color changes - difficult to move text Keep in mind I am using a new empty page !!!

Having reduced settings on the mobile app really hinders usability

This is the only app I've ever used that I can't type in with my bluetooth keyboard. Unusable for iPads. Feel free to let me know when you fix this cause I wish I could use this app.

I don’t understand why you people make apps that don’t work the same as the website or the desktop app! I downloaded this app, the marketplace for templates wasn’t available. The AI sent me to the mobile website and I tried browsing agents, clicked on one and it took me to a completely unrelated screen with the templates for Notion. I downloaded the Agents app, tried searching for the one I found on the site, nope. Didn’t work. Like what the hell? I never deleted an account so fast! Shew

I took all my notes here. One random update later all of my notes for every single class were missing. Just as my mid term is coming up

i’m so done with ai slop being shoved down our throats in every corner of the internet. there’s no reason why notion should need ai integrated into its app. you don’t want to spend the time writing original content? fine, use chatgpt. this app used to be so nice circa 2019, now it’s turning into every other lazy website.

So far notion has been great, my number 1 go to for note taking among other things. But now the app has been more of nuisance than anything because it has several glitches now. For one, whenever I highlight a paragraph and try applying italic, or bold to it, it only applies to the first word and only allows me to edit that first word. Another recent development being that whenever I try highlighting a text to put it in a different color, by the time I go to the color menu the entire thing becomes deselected and uncolorable. Please fix this.

You can only make check boxes one at a time in the mobile app. I uploaded a list of things to do, I want to create a checklist, and I cannot. Insane for this team to not have that feature.

The AI will help you fake who you want to be, and will keep you from growing into a better person. Notion should remove the AI feature.

It just keep pulling everything up. Unusable on Mac.

Notion is great, but the mobile app is a mess of bugs and inconsistencies. Tapping some modules will cause an unclose-able box to appear that persists even after closing the app. Dragging other modules will open them. Menus needing to be dragged to close is annoying and inconstant. I love Notion, but it’s better used on computer.

One of the worst apps to be using on iPad or the iPhone. Notion is only good on the Mac or MacBook. They have been terrible iOS and iPad OS for years now. I have been through multiple is upgrades from 18 to 27 now and when Apple is getting better with upgrades notion is still in the same spot as it was before with no upgrades and only downgrades. I can’t make a calculate function to work on the app in the table on notion as it keeps freezing and doesn’t work at all. It’s only okay for viewing things you made in your computer or laptop besides that you can’t create or do anything in iPad.

App is now too glitchy to use, makes typing a little more diffficult on mobile as the screen keeps moving every time I type.

forcing me to update and blocking me from looking at my notes right when i needed them. disgusting treatment. also why do i need 2gb free to update??? pretty sure we went to the moon with less. not surprised if the new version is vibe coded slop.

The performance on iPad is TERRIBLE. The screen keeps randomly jumping from one place to another, and there are so many bugs that it’s really difficult to work with the app comfortably. It’s extremely frustrating and honestly makes the whole experience exhausting. I’m using a 2025 iPad, so I really don’t think this should be happening. Please fix the iPad experience and these annoying bugs!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE START TESTING UR UPDATES ON IPAD. it’s genuinely miserable trying to use notion on ipad because when you type the screen JUMPS TO THE FREAKING TOP and selects RIGHT UNDER where i’m trying to type. happens over and over again. your app is so good but I CANT SEE WHAT IM FREAKING TYPING and even slight misclicks on ipad make the screen jump around. i’ve seen SEVERAL people with the same issue. FIX IT
