Gridwise: Gig Driver Assistant

Not easy to print off mileage info on the free version. Pages lock up. Have to shut the phone off and restart. Looking for something better. Lost a bunch of mileage data.

If junk had a pic, this app would be next to it in the dictionary. What was Fred and great is now for a fee and once you pay, you realize that they’ve sold you something that’s obsolete at best and exposes you to thievery. NoNoNo. Not on my best day would I keep this app on my phone.

App says for Gridwise plus annually is $107.99 and under that says, just $6/month billed annually. Obviously $6/month is $72 annually. What price is it?

Just a bunch of scammers. After the 7-day trial, I forgot to cancel my subscription, so they charged me $15.99, and then Apple refused to refund me, even though I hadn’t used the premium version of the app for a single day. I emailed the developers, but they completely ignored me — no response whatsoever. If you go to ‘View all plans’ in your subscriptions, you’ll see a pattern of subscription price hikes, starting from $5. What’s more, you can subscribe for a month at a price three times lower than in the app 😂 They don’t really care, but I suspect they’ll fix this after I’ve pointed it out. The app itself isn’t particularly useful on a global scale. Showing earnings trends in different areas would only really be useful in somewhere like California, and even then only for Doordash and Uber drivers. Forget about other apps — there’s nothing useful here for you. They’ll show you the most popular airports… For $15.99… There’s absolutely no justification for that price. Save your money; there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good.

I don’t like the recent update. I don’t like how we have to manually turn Gridwise on now. I lost out on a couple days of mileage because I wasn’t aware that we are responsible for activating it. I’m considering of ending my subscription.

It asks for your username & password for any platform you use for the “sign in process” 🚩🚩 I see a potential data leak coming. Your information could be getting sold, hacked and so on. Do not ever link your uber or dasher, etc to an app that makes you login to it so they can see what type of data you have. I wouldn’t download it that’s just me.

This app is trash. The mileage tracking works periodically but when your job is to drive you need it to always track your mileage. $15 and it did not work. Was unable to get a refund through the developer or Apple. Scummy.

App pulls data from large cities. I live 90 miles from Philadelphia and it’s “including my city as part of Philadelphia”

I am paying for this app every month but now it just added pop-up ads whenever I start the app. I am already paying for this app I should never see an ad.

One of this apps main selling points was that it can give you insights into when the best time to work!- except it only works in big cities, despite my city being the 2nd biggest city in the state bahaha. What a joke. Uninstalled immediately.

Mileage tracker is very inaccurate. I drive around 120-200 miles a day and the mileage tracker is off by 5-10 miles per day which isn’t a lot but if you’re doing gig work full time this could lead to thousands of dollars of missed deductions. I’ve tested this out by taking before and after pictures of my odometer, at the start of my shift and end of my shift. it is always inaccurate. I’ve also ran another milage tracker (Stride) at the same time, and “stride” was accurate to the tee, while Gridwise always came in short. I ran this test multiple times. Very disappointed because the earnings tracker is very useful. Hope they can fix this.

This app is a false advertisement do not use. They will only charge you and use you as a guinea pig to work for your own money.

I canceled my subscription. They ignored the cancellation and charged me for another month to add insult to injury. They said they would continue charging me. This is fraudulent. I have reported them to Apple for fraud. I have screenshots documenting everything.

One of the worst apps I have ever used. I needed my yearly report to do my Uber taxes, and I tried multiple times to have it sent to my email, but nothing ever arrived. I checked my spam folder and everything still nothing, recently I tried logging back in, but for some reason I had been logged out and couldn’t get back into my account. I attempted to reset my password several times, but again, no email was ever sent. Nothing! I even tried contacting customer support, and they never responded. Completely useless support and a very frustrating experience. I even paid for their service, which makes it even worse. Definitely not worth it. I will not be using this app again.

Again, you guys updated this app in wiped out all of our receipt information. Something needs to be done about this. This makes no sense that I have to go back and re-put in all receipt information all expense information from last year. This is ridiculous.

Only tracks miles with passengers. Which is the same thing Lyft and uber does. And doesn’t correctly input miles.

I got the app this past week, and as part of the process, had to link my dasher account. Someone then used that information to login on my account and called me and phished more information out. Thankfully I called the real dasher support and changed my password. This app is untrustworthy with account data. User beware!

They will give your data to third-party so that they will scam you. please do not open this account.

My Amazon flex has been “syncing” for 8 days but no data loads into the app as it does with other gig apps I have disappointed would like my money back as there’s no point for me if I can’t utilize the features that I signed up to have

I tried it for a couple days. canceled it the same day I was checking it out for the free week trial. now it’s trying to charge my card repeatedly a $16.99 charge. i can’t seem to make it stop. frustrating

GridWise promises a lot and delivers on almost none of it. You’ll be a month into the subscription and wondering why you didn’t cancel it already.

Idk what happened. But it keeps saying login error. It logged me out one day haven’t been able to get back in which means I lost all my mileage. Contacting support doesn’t work

I requested my 2024 mileage report PDF file four hours ago and I still haven't received it.

This is the most useless glitchy app. It isn’t the magic bullet you’re looking for. Don’t waste your time.

This app , is not good for uber The navigation is slow to respond. Sends you pass the pick up location. Trying to get a hold of someone @ uber is impossible. Need to get better navigation maps. Not waste management. Also I’m a handicap driver. And I get out of the car to help passengers. And I come Back to the car. And be cause I help People I get hit on cancelations. Fix this app.
