Robokiller: Spam Call Blocker

Robokiller said they would look into why I’m not getting my scans and told me they’d look into it, and would not respond anymore. No updates. Bad customer service. It’s over a month later and I still don’t have my scan that I paid for. They said they would not respond to my texts. I have no update on my case and I still never got the scan. I know for a fact I didn’t get it. Where’s my scan???? When my scans are supposed to restart it takes a year and a day to get them to start it. They try to put the blame on me when it has to start from their end. I have no edit button still. Don’t waste your money. No customer service. A song and dance.

Robokiller spam call blocker was working fine for about 11 months and then all of a sudden it allowed every call that came in to ring on my phone !!my IT friend told me to uninstall the app and reinstall it, which has been a nightmare! Not customer friendly, very confusing for those who have limited computer - smart phone knowledge base. The most irritating is that there is no phone number to call for customer assistance or Tech Support. Shame on Robokiller.! Robokiller has chosen to follow other companies that have no phone number for service/questions.

Total trash. Charges $129 a year for something your phone is already capable of doing free and does a better job. This is a joke. “Pay us for something you can get for free!” 👎

Works great. I’ve been a customer for many years. I’m on a premium plan paying $9 a month. I was just notified that they are raising it to $14 a month. That’s ridiculous, and the fact they think they can get away with that is concerning. I’m canceling my service today. Very disappointed, but of course, not surprised. It was good while it lasted.

Straight garbage app GETS STUCK AND NEVER WORKED FROM THE BEGINNING. Followed all instructions which lead to endless loops DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY THIS IS A USELESS APP. Worst of all it’s stuck on the deactivation and delete account. Insane how is this still on the AppStore

So because I don’t pay $129 upfront the only other option is $520 keep this entire barely working app. Greed with apps these days, I swear ya’ll sorry tech companies are in for a rude awakening.

The app seemed to work great I signed up in April and by August it stopped directing calls to the blocker. Waste of money.

I do not want calls from Florida if not in my contacts. Tennessee calls not in my contacts are fine. I don’t even want Florida calls listed. Getting very aggravating.

I don’t know what has changed, but the app no longer works as well as it once did. Lately, I get 5+ calls a day and it only filters occasionally. The rating is always 90%+ but they never identify themselves in call screening. If they just fixed the app to auto block any calls that do not screen, I’d be fine. To make matters worse, there is no ability to talk with support outside the form that no one answers. I will not be renewing this app unless they fix the screening.

I had really high hopes for this. It catches maybe 10% of the calls. I still get spam, credit card and loan offers, and vehicle warranty stuff. It really is not like having anything at all. I use it for a phone. I use it for work as well, and I know it's hurting some business because people don't want to talk to a robot. I was hoping there would be a trade-off and it would eliminate some of the spam calls. It barely does any of that. It pretty much just adds a middleman without creating any value. I would suggest going a different direction besides this.

After 5 days of testing - did not work for me. It would screen calls that were AI robo calls, record the AI slop and pass the call through. Absolutely useless in stopping the constant AI robo calls with spoofed numbers.

This app used to be amazing. Now it can’t filter spam to save its digital life. I don’t think I’ll be renewing the subscription it hasn’t worked for over a year. I need a refund. T-Mobiles scam shield does a better job.

At all. Still getting dozens of calls per day after giving it nearly 9 months to “learn”. Better off buying Elephant Insurance. Wasted my money. Get fd rk.

Does not work as claimed. Phone numbers in my contacts don’t ring through and are treated like spam. No notice is given that they called. Expected a call from a dealer I had left message at, turned off robo so call would come through. call was denied, I did not get notice, lost a very important purchase opportunity. And now find out that even cancelling the app, there is no partial refund of my purchase price - so you buy it, they don’t deliver, but they keep all your money! No thanks, really enjoyed being ripped off, but you’ll never get the chance again from me!!!

This used to be such a great app, but unfortunately it has become absolutely terrible. The spam filtering simply is NOT working anymore. Yesterday alone, I received 64 spam calls and texts in a single day. Today, I received another 44. That is completely unacceptable for an app I’m paying for specifically to stop this problem. I block the numbers. I report them. I follow the recommended steps. Nothing works. My phone number is also registered on the “National Do Not Call Registry”, yet the volume of spam getting through RoboKiller has become unbelievable. What is the point of paying for a spam blocking app when I’m receiving more than 100 spam calls and texts in 2 days? RoboKiller used to work extremely well, which is why this is so disappointing. Something has clearly changed. Please fix the filtering technology and get this app back to what it used to be.

Worked for 2 weeks then nothing. After they got their annual sub they just gave up! I submitted 2 issues to their “team” but never got a response. Find another app to use if needed with new guidelines for blocking unwanted calls in phone or through phone service company an app like this may not be needed anymore!

Installed for 30 minutes and I've gotten four scam calls! Uninstalling!

This is the most useless app, do not install. It does ABSOLUTELY nothing! Then they will charge you 130$ at the end of the year. Garage

Basically the title. It costs $100/year and you can’t even block an entire area code. It only lets you block numbers based on the first 5 digits. Totally useless for me. I get probably 10 spam calls per day. They all come from the same area code, but the exchange code will be anything from 400 to 900.

Would not get through setup had multiple errors.

If I could give this app 0 stars I would. They have a feature where they will answer spam calls and ‘give them the runaround’ but spam calls are all automated these days and there’s no actual person they want you to press a number or call a number. So you actually cause numbers to be ‘hot’ and you ruined my number and you have ruined so many numbers. And you’re expensive. You deserve this review.
