The decline started with v7.0 (July 2025), when a previously '100% free' recipe saver added a ~$50/yr Pro subscription. The update limited imports and paywalled scaling and unit conversion, and reviewers call it a bait and switch. Some bug and import-quality complaints exist but are minor.
