Decline is mostly about newer BMWs (2023+ LCI, iDrive 8.5/9) being largely uncodable, which likely reflects BMW locking down its ECUs, plus adapter connection failures and an iOS 26 break. The $50 price complaints are not new. There is some product_rot in the false-success coding and the inaccurate compatibility claims.
